The funny thing about Levin is he was a Never Trumper and supported Cruz in the 2016 primaries. He said he'd never vote for Trump in a general election.  Just like we saw in all the Fox host text

It’s common knowledge that vehicle sales are one of the single most reliable metrics for assessing of consumer confidence and a healthy economy.

From a local news article here in Chattanooga

New vehicle sales in Hamilton County dropped in July from June to 1,339, and used vehicle sales rose to 4,622, according to figures from the County Clerk's office.

That compares to 1,898 new vehicles sold and 4,644 used vehicles sold in July, 2025.

So just for the record:

July 2025:  1,898

July 2026:  1,339

Unreal.  In just 12 months, new vehicle sales have dropped by a whopping 30% compared to the same month a year ago.

Welcome to the Trump economy.

The crazy part is I don't think they're trolling. I think they're so ideologically driven that they actually believe their own bullshit. Government workers?? That's a net negative to these people because they genuinely want to see the government and rule of law dismantled.

They listen with eyes focused on what they believe is best for everybody, who counts.  Hospitals are closing in towns surrounding Nashville because the salaries are below national norms.  The hospitals are losing people who considered it service work by helping people who have less.  The sharpe increase in housing/transportation costs depleted the basic quality of living there to help.

Trump doesn’t value competence. He values loyalty to himself.

It's worked out well for him his entire life. I always think back to what his professor said. Not so much about him being an idiot, which is obvious, but about how he was singularly the least inquisitive individual he'd ever taught.

The winning never stops.

Donald Trump’s weird hatred of offshore wind energy is costing a lot as Uncle Sam has to pay off the companies which had invested in the canceled projects.

For the fifth time now, the Trump administration has agreed to pay an energy firm a huge sum of money, not for building something, but in fact for not building it. The German firm RWE announced that it would receive $1.22 billion to stop development of already-planned offshore wind farms, including one that was set to go up right here in New York.

That brings the total that Trump has committed specifically to kill wind energy to just about $4 billion. Let us repeat that — the U.S. government will pay a fortune just to not have new energy infrastructure.

My apologies for pushing ME onto this side of the board, but it genuinely is a perfect representation of our current situation.
