You right wingers have absolutely no understanding of the political spectrum. You all think if it isn't far far right then it is extreme left. You're clueless.

Keep that energy into 2026 and 2028! Calling 51% of the country idiots worked out pretty well for you.

It's impossible not to question the morality of people who choose to support politicians who spread vile and dangerous rhetoric like that.   If you're willing do that, what else are you will

Hilarious and sad at the same time

"People who answered factual questions about inflation, crime, and immigration incorrectly were "more likely to opt for Trump," Ipsos said...."

Bernie Sanders is right. They lost the white working man and they aren't even trying to fight for them when their policies better align with their well being. The Southern Strategy worked, and frankly I think it's because the Democratic party has become very center to right with many economic policies. I'm not saying I agree with tariffs, but I never thought I'd see the day a Republican is championing tariffs and Democrats free trade.

I love Bernie but it’s bullshit to say that Biden wasn’t fighting for the working class. Biden was easily the most pro-union president in my lifetime. He tried to pass a minimum wage increase. He got massive funding to promote manufacturing (which comes with more manufacturing jobs). He got massive funding for an infrastructure bill (which means construction jobs). He got a child tax credit passed for 1 year and tried to get it permanently. Biden did a lot of things to benefit the working class.

If there’s an argument for Bernie to make it was against the likes of Manchin and Sinema. The bulk of the party was with Biden but the “moderates” fucked things up.

It's easier to token pander to marginalized groups than actually affect change. Like you said with the Latinx example. Only liberal college cloistered people care about such things. Besides isn't there already a gender neutral word for Latino and Latina - Latin? It comes across ridiculous to the average American.

this was an issue 4 years ago. I really haven’t heard anyone use the term “Latinx” since then because it was so unpopular.

I’m surprised you ate it for breakfast given that some of the portions of that can be quite large.

I dig the bean sprouts as well (not pictured) adds a little crispness to the dish.

Was a late breakfast.  Will hold me til early dinner. And girl had been craving it, so no contest. :)

Besides, Pho a traditional breakfast in Vietnam, especially for those preparing for hard day's work.

True, but it sticks to you, particularly in the way that those who oppose you will use it against you.  Like the kid who crapped his pants in 3rd grade might still get called Stinky in 7th.

Fair/true or not, it ends up painting them as out of touch and focused on issues meaningless to the overwhelming majority of voters.

OK, but as it wasn’t something Dems actually were doing it’s not a valid complaint

Yep she's

Of course, most people don't believe in late term abortions, transgender surgery on children, or eating pets....

So when one candidate can says all this ridiculous shit and people say, oh well no one believes that, it's a huge advantage.

If Kamala/Hillary/Biden said whatever the equivalent of this ridiculous shit the response would not be, "most people don't believe that". Their campaign or chances would be gone, overnight.

The way the media covers the two candidates is the real key and that can't be controlled

That's were I think the Dems are failing on messaging.

So they're like the kid who DIDN'T crap their pants, but they didn't do enough to stop Jimmy the Bully from saying they did and it still stuck.

I guarantee things like this are in the minds of right-wing voters because of active labeling by all the conservatives voices. They know it works.  Find some petty issue and attach it to the whole Dem party.  How do you counter that?  Give a long speech explaining why it's not true?  Yawn... Boring!

Jesus fucking Christ you people are so out of touch. Kamala/Hillary/Biden did say equivalently ridiculous shit.  Your whole platform is fear mongering.  You have an entire generation (Z) thinking Trump is a literal dictator. Most of yall should probably kill yourselves now if you truly believe that as it’s a better alternative to the gulag.

No question Trump gets away with saying dumb asinine things that others don't but it's not like the media didn't skewer and make fun of him for it.

The real issue is that the Democrats continuously put up bad candidates with likeability issues, do a horrible job of messaging, and don't ever get some of their asinine progressive positions exonerated because they still adhere to them......whether it's the pronoun stuff, critical race theory, trans in girls sports, men can have babies, defund the police.

Defund the police wasn't brought up this cycle but Dem cities have crime/prosecution "stealing is a crime of poverty" issues that the Republicans hammered them on succcessfully.  The very state Kamala was from represents the progressive soft on crime issue that even Californians rejected.  The vast majority of America agrees with this.
