Couldn’t agree more. I only get my news from Rachel Maddow. That’s a man who is completely unbiased. #bluewave

The Fake News craze has gone so far that reporting actual news is framed as left wing bias. This is the case in Europe too

It's impossible not to question the morality of people who choose to support politicians who spread vile and dangerous rhetoric like that.   If you're willing do that, what else are you will

A remarkable thing happened Tuesday night on an “election integrity” discussion page on the social media platform X, as it became clear that former president Donald Trump was headed to a decisive victory against Vice President Kamala Harris. It got quiet. wapo.st/40VIxPB

When we are the party calling for transparency, voter ID's, paper ballots, same day elections, etc. and we still overwhelmingly shellack our opps, why would we continue searching for stolen election?

We still want transparency and security. Sentiment's still there. Nothing's changed.

It's always worth the time to hear someone out that you disagree with. Maybe more worth it than just to listening to someone singing to the choir.

Well, I read your earlier post about how the Dems need to move away from the far left woke stuff so I get that. But do you have to be far left/super woke to be progressive?

Yeah, Cybertrucks aren't a good look regardless of who you are.

Ben Shapiro, Kirk, Jones, etc... are poison. If you listen to any of them then thats on you. I won't try to convince you to stop listening to them because I don't know you in real life and don't care to waste my time. I have nothing invested in talking you down from extremism. And yes there is a major difference between moderates/centrists and progressives. Google it if you want to know more.

Great hangover food too.

Not hungover this AM mind you, but post this election seemed very existentially appropriate.

I’m surprised you ate it for breakfast given that some of the portions of that can be quite large.

I dig the bean sprouts as well (not pictured) adds a little crispness to the dish.

Perhaps the campaign was actually pretty good given the environment!

Everyone wants to blame Biden for not getting out early enough or Harris for not being a good candidate or running a good campaign. It wouldn't have mattered. There are hundreds of thousands of voters who came out , voted for Trump, and then left everything down ballot blank. Thats why so many of the Swing state Dem Senators held on. It was a referendum on the economy and the people spoke. Now we get 4 years of crazy and have to hope our institutions hold.

Trump being on the ballot does have a unique draw for a lot of people. He's beaten the polls all 3 times, but Democrats over performed in 2018 and 2022 when he wasn't on the ballot. There is a legit cult of personality around him.

Honestly kind of hoping that Republicans lose some of their juice when he can't run again. I really doubt Vance will be able to generate the same effects.

I guess the point is that if someone is super successful and has all the money they need, they can simply focus on social issues or influence in who they align with politically.  Meanwhile, some guy in Kansas making 35 K a year and needs to support a wife and kids isn't so worried about whether a transgender inmate can get surgery.....or be called the correct pronoun.

Oh, I can assure he will likely be worried about the inmate getting his junk chopped off...  Maybe not from the same angle you're coming in from.  But you did say he's in Kansas.
