I really feel like the Dems are doing something very similar to when they slanted the primaries and forced Hillary on everyone in 2016 when the people wanted Bernie. The Dems support policies that help the majority of Americans, but they are terrible at politics. The Republicans support policies that help the rich and corporations and shit on regular Americans, but they are great at politics. If the Dems knew they wanted to go with someone else, they should have supported an open primary. Instead they balk at the last minute and force their guy out for an even more controversial candidate. They are probably going to lose again just like in 2016. He wrote re-registered as Democrat to do it, so it seems to be as the Democrat nominee. He might be doing it to be a team player, knowing he wont win the nomination but would give more legitimacy to the process.
