If skronski continues to strugle and npf keeps being himself. I still dont see any reason to not try skronski at tackle.

I know a bunch of you are going to cry like babies because bla bla bla multiple coaches bla.

But they both hate(d) radunz and he is possibly our second best lineman right now.

These guys make mistakes as well. Whats the worst that could happen? Brunskil holds down lg below average and skronski sucks as a tackle? Thats where we are now.

If he can't play OG at the NFL level what makes you think he can play a more demanding position in RT?

The biggest bright spot last night was Sweat's play.    6 tackles, 2 more loss and constantly disrupting the Miami blocking schemes. He did this without Simmons as well. He played 78% of the

Titans HAD to upgrade their Dline. Newton, Fiske, and Jenkins were all guys who played the same role as Simmons. I like those guys but I've told people all offseason that the Titans weren't going to d

As long as they can keep Sweat away from Davenport he's got a chance!

Too many penalties/mistakes this year thus far.  Last years LTs and C made him look better since they were attacked for being the weak point.  Expectation for me was pro bowl G and I’m not seeing it.  Still a bit early to write the book but if  he was coming off the rookie deal tomorrow I would let him walk and replace him with a 3rd round G.

Yeah. I'm only slightly disappointed in him because I had my expectations set correctly. The expectation that he play at anywhere near a pro bowl level after never having played guard in his life was way too much and I said so at the time. He also still has length issues on the interior. If we ignore the level of investment, I'm fine with Skoronski. He does need to improve though.

I think we're learning that the difference in the skill-sets are much bigger than people thought. Some guys might be tackle-only guys. Given he played OT most of his life and that athleticism was never a limiting factor for him, I don't think it's ridiculous to think he might play better at tackle. He's not like a lot of the guards in the NFL who have to play guard due to movement issues. I'd certainly take a look at him at least at RT though that would bring some issues too since he's never played on the right side of the OL. Then there are the length issues but we've talked those to death.

Doesn't matter to me. If you let Vrabel cuck you into taking a fucking guard on 11, that's on you. He's a grown man and could've said no. That said, I am glad Vrabel's influence is gone.

He couldn't though. Vrabel was the established HC who the owner loved and she didn't make it clear who had final say on personnel decisions.

Ran also said he and Vrabel were 100% aligned on decisions and also said 2024 was his first draft so who the fuck knows.

He isn't going to ever air dirty laundry. Not his style. Now I do think he was a little too deferential to Vrabel last year and as a GM, even one that believes in consensus building, that can't happen. Hopefully he learns from it.

This is how bad the first two round picks in 2022 and 2023 were:  In hindsight the best possible trades the Titans could have made in 2022 and 2023 would be trading each of those firsts for seconds but to teams that were crazy enough to pick Willis and Levis before the Titans did.  The team would be leagues better with whatever players it took with those four twos.

Who knows, it could be all mental. It could be he doesnt get the asignments with the possition awitch and over thinks things. Maybe he needs more space for his tiny arms to feel free.

Qb is a more demanding postion than kicker, should we try levis out at kicker?

Paw Cally has done a wonderful job with Latham.  Maybe Sko will just take a little more time?  If he can't play G, RT isn't the place to put him.  🪑🪑🪑

Neither of you have answered to

Hequestion though. Knowing we have someone who can play guard. What do we have to lose giving it a shot?

No1 said he would be good. But even if he is as bad as npf, whats the loss? I dont see any.
