He said once MHJ was picked the Titans were calling his agent constantly asking if the Chargers were thinking about taking him or if anyone was going to move up for him. Seems like he was really their target. They were probably overjoyed when Alt was taken by LA. 

This lends a lot to the notion that Bill C was in charge of who the OL picks were going to be; and we didn't hear a pip out of him pre-draft whether that was by design or his preference.

Did you hear Latham talking about his in person visit where he sat with Bill and started talking OL and next thing they knew it was 2 hours later? Callahan fell in love that day.

Latham sounds like a very intelligent tactician, in addition to his physical size and strength.. Callahan showed him how to fix a couple of his weaknesses during that interview, and Latham wanted to be coached up.. he’s also very religious, and wants to be a minister after football.. after hearing him on the zone this afternoon, I came away thinking this kid( he’s 21) will be made into a very fine LT
