Listening to the Draft Show twice a week they can't wait to see Tyler Biadasz be off the Cowboys roster they blame him for a lot of the Cowboys run game issue as he struggles to get up to the 2nd/3rd levels as a run blocker.

No problem - not gonna need run blockers here anymore (just kidding).

Didn’t even realize he was only 20. I was mostly just so impressed by him after first thinking he was just some elite deep threat. But he’s so much more than that. He’s basically just open every play. I think if he were 195-200 pounds, we’d be talking about Worthy as a top 15 pick. The hope is that he’s either a savant at avoiding big hits or that he can put on 10-15 lbs and maintain his speed and agility.

I think he’s more than worth the risk. The other super intriguing guy in kind of the opposite direction is Johnny Wilson. He’s basically in the 99th percentile for length and speed. He’s 2 inches taller than Calvin Johnson but moves smoother than any super tall receivers from the past. He’s almost like a thinner Jared Cook with insane jump ball skills.

Yeah I’m in on worthy if he somehow falls to 39. Not the same playing styles or anything, but resent weight comps haven proven these skinny guys can still ball out with creative scheming as flankers or in the slot or with motion at the snap for some easy releases. No reason to think Brian can’t get creative with him.

Obviously I would love Odunze or Nabors, but I’m partial to shoring up the line first so worthy would be a worthy consolation prize.

Regarding Wilson, those pictures from the senior bowl are hilarious. He’s so god damn big. I wonder if he could put some weight on and play that tight end/power slot hybrid role.

I feel the same way about WR vs offensive line and agree with you on worthy.

Yeah Wilson is a total dice roll lol. He’s pretty skinny. But he’s only 10-15 lbs lighter than Jared cook. Though it’s not like Jared cook could ever block anybody. Worst case he could definitely just be a red zone target/obvious passing down guy. But I think he’s more than that.

Would love Alt at 7 and then a trade up to secure Worthy. I kind of forgot about that kid but I watched a couple Texas games and he was dominant. At one point he screamed at the sidelines to throw him the ball (perfect diva attitude you want for a WR) and they threw him the fade where he basically did a bicycle move in the air to maintain his hangtime and high point it. He's being slept on.

That was mitchell, not worthy right? Trading up is out of the question without a 3rd. I'd like to see them stick at 7 and take a LT or Odunze. if all 3 are gone then trade back a few spots. at 38 Mitchell would a target if WR isn't the pick in the 1st.

Oh yeah. I forgot they had two monster outside WRs. Welp, give me one of the Texas WRs.

At 18 years old he put up 261 yards and 2 tds against then #6 Oklahoma. That’s wild to me.  After draft capital, breakout age is the next most positively correlated data point to future dynasty fantasy success. Career YPRR is next, fwiw.  Most on here probably don’t care about the dynasty fantasy implications, haha, but usually a good fantasy wr translates to a good IRL wr, so I’d be down to take a flyer on those odds.

It’s pretty nerdy, but there’s a lot of interesting data points that the dynasty football redditors track. Give it a look sometime as I find it very entertaining. The nfl front offices obviously know all of these numbers and trends,  so there’s a reason actual draft capital is still the most important, but it’s an interesting way to compare guys within a given tier.

Tldr; good nfl WRs  usually show they’re good pretty early on in their college careers. Beware of leggette

Good stuff. And yeah I want nothing to do with Leggette.

I have to watch more of him.  I did cursory viewing of WR's in the range for our 2nd round pick.  I liked Keon Coleman the least.  He just didn't seem like he didn't get seperation for the most part.  Legette looked kind of stiff and he has to build up speed when he runs.  Frankilin was ok. He had skinny legs which gave me Justin Hunter vibes.  Also there were some long plays on broken coverage.  But I did see enough there.  I came away kind of impressed with both Mitchell and Brian Thomas (who'll probably be gone).  Also watching the Thomasl highlights (and maybe Nabers), you see Daniels just missing throws.

From the one video I saw of Worthy he definitely has big play potential.  Didn't see much of a route tree though.  Again I probably need to watch more.  I haven't watched Walker (UNC) or Johnny Wilson either.

He doesn't have great top end speed, but he's got really smooth hips and fluid motion. His acceleration is sneaky. As long as Mitchell isn't a head case, which is possible, I don't think you can go wrong with either.
