New era begins.   Please declare yourself for or against in the comments, so we can figure out the new teams.

I would have joined the mob if he said anything other than this.   RIP Fanboys.  I know it’s been miserable being wrong at every turn the past 3+ years.  But @OILERMAN @BudsOilers and @oldsc

The Titans, as a team, on defense and on offense, are - almost across the board - worse than I thought they'd be. I had lower expectations for Ryan Tannehill than the resident Tannestans (obviously) and he underperformed even my pretty pedestrian expectations. It is what it is.

It sucks to suck and he did and we do. Suck it up, move on and, for the love of God, stop crying.

The season is not over at 3-5, thats loser talk. Imagine how bad the Front Office would be if they allowed a win against the Falcons to change their trade deadline plans only to give up on the season 4 days later after the Steelers loss. The truth is Tannehill right now isn't that much better and might be worse than Levis who took the 2 games he was given in relief to show he may be the short term answer as well. Vrabel isn't dejected because the team is in eval mode and gave up on the season. He's dejected because under his watch the team is 3-12 in their last 15 games.

It's not but they have a tough climb.  Cleveland and PIT have awful qb's and I suspect there will be a regression to the mean at some point, especially PIT.  Levis has looked better than Tannehill

The issue with them going forward is that they may be in a lot of these games but their inherent flaws might stop them from winning a lot of them/close losses.  Shitty OL play, Vrabel's conservatism on both offense and defense.  If they had a solid unit on one side (like the defense) I could maybe forsee a late push towards one of those last spots, but as it is, it looks unlikely.  But they won't go winless or win only one game.

Don't misunderstand me. I don't think they will make a run but this clueless fan shit where posters have been pushing for a tank job since Feb deserves to be laughed at. They have the Bucs, Colts, Texans twice, and the Panthers. The 4 challenging games are the Jags twice, Dolphins, and Seahawks. All those teams have problems but would be favored for a reason. Now I'm not predicting they go on a run, sorry @pat, but this idea its over at the mid way point is false. They aren't done until they get to 8 or 9 losses.

Guys, the game is more than numbers.  Tannehill's 2021 season was what Tannehill is.  The guy is all heart.  He stood in there w/o Henry, took a hellacious beating QB'd the team to the #1 seed.  @Seattle, they bottled Henry up in the first half and Tannehill had one of his best games as a Titan.  He threw some absolutely great balls, highlight reel stuff.  He didn't get any calls.

Second half, Henry got loose and the news was all about Henry.  If Julio had worn different shoes, Tannehill would have been the hero.  Tannehill was about playing the best he could to win games. He wasn't elite, but he was one of the best QBs we've had.

QB worship is a hellova thing.  It blinds people.  Tannehill got old.  He got the hell beat out of him because he would stand in there and deliver the ball.  His ability faded because he's human.  Even in 2021 which may be his best contribution you could see he was showing wear by the end of that year.

It's not easy, but you just can't fall in love with the guys.  When you do that you lose sight of the game and we wind up in this Tannehill's elite, tag him forever debate debacle.

Yeah, it bugs me too.  Because we've seen weird shit happen before where teams that look dead have a chance to get into the playoffs in the last week or whatever.  I would have given them a decent chance vs the Dolphins if the defense were playing better.  As it is, is seems like a likely Dolphins win.

They have a huge problem w/humility.  It's sad to watch them just toss out every bit of understanding about football they have and  just cling to ridiculous points they made as it all continued to blow up in their faces.

You telling people not to fall in love with guys, when you blindly worship Henry is really funny and ironic.

Da King?  Let's not get carried away.  He'll still be getting 2,000yd a season five years from now.
