Just a reminder

The Ravens gave Jackson the non exclusive tender so other teams could sign him. They told him to find a trade. Other teams came out publicly and announced they were not interested in Jackson.

He's had a good year but last offseason the perception was quite different, even from his own team

That had nothing to do with his talent or teams not recognizing he is an elite QB.  It was more about the league colluding to prevent another fully guarenteed QB contract.

I'll say it.  WTF would anyone want to acquire and pay Lamar Jackson?  He's not come close to his 2019 season production wise and for as much grief as people give guys like Tannehill, Cousins, and Dak

Lamar got tagged on March 7th before free agency opened and didn't receive the first offer.  The calendar isn't his problem.    It's his recent performance, cost, injury history, and the fac

Nope.  I like QB's who can pass the ball.  Even this year, Lamar's accuracy isn't great.  He gets bailed out by receivers making great catches too often.

You're way too harsh

BTT%: 4.9% (12th)

TWP%: 2.5% (7th)

Adj. CMP%: 77.6% (5th)

BTT% under pressure is a ridiculous 10.2%

He's also arguably the best intermediate thrower in the NFL

He's a legit passer, not an elite passer but certainly now a good one

I'm allowing him a good scheme after being hamstrung by whatever you call Greg Romans passing concepts

Roman schemed him up too - but they had receivers not good enough to make diving catches of all of the inaccurate passes thrown their way!

Jackson's numbers over his past 3 starts-all against playoff teams- are really impressive.

People snickered at

@Mythos27 when he said that Jackson was the kind of QB who could win your team a SB.  But they're about to find out.

Yeah. He's not an elite level passer but he's improved to the point that his passing is good enough to make his legs deadly. I think KC is the only team that can beat him right now though. When they decide to take away your strength they do it very effectively. I don't see him being able to get free against them like he did against Houston. He also has to keep up with Mahomes; the Ravens won't be able to have as many point-less drives as they did last week. Should be a good one.

Lamar is one step closer to winning KC a SB!
