They have too much money to lose by forcing all teams to delay/cancel (they can't force institutions to play, those simply won't give a fuck if it comes down to a forfeit if that's the case) and don't want to get roped into a stance when the conversation is on everyone else. They'll eventually have something but that's after they can weigh all the circumstances and how it would change their bottom-line short and long term.

Same reason why NFL has dismissed brain injuries until there was absolutely nothing to do anymore to hide it, silence doesn't give people ammo to go after them because no one actually cares enough about player safety.

But isn't the majority of the money in the CFB playoffs and bowl games?  Sure, games like Alabama/LSU and Clemson will be watchable and get ratings but nobody gives a fuck about watching Duke play Wake Forest or Tennessee and Mississippi State.....

If y'all had just worn masks we would have college football.   The 2021 draft is going to be a complete crapshoot

I'm a Vandy fan. Might as well cancel college football forever...

It's a hoax. Only 5 people have it and soon down to 1. It will just disappear one day. The church pews should be filled on Easter. It's will be gone by Memorial day. The summe

As long as it goes through the testing process, yes. I wouldn't take the one Russia is claiming but I'd take one from the US or Europe.

Not too make this political, but it will be approved by an agency headed by a political appointee in this country.

Yeah but that doesn't mean it doesn't go through the full testing process.

NCAA president Mark Emmert said on Thursday there won't be fall NCAA championships because there's not enough schools participating because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic -- a decision that impacts 22 championships, including FCS football.

"The Board of Governors also established if you don't have half of the schools playing a sport, you can't have a legitimate championship," Emmert said in a video posted on the NCAA's Twitter feed. "We can't in any Division I NCAA championship sport now -- which is everything other than FBS football that goes on in the fall. Sadly, tragically, that's going to be the case this fall, full stop."

There are something like 7 or 8 vaccines in stage 3 trials.  At some point, if people wait they are going to have a choice and some are likely to be better than others.

In addition, just because a vaccine completes stage 3 and is approved by the FDA doesn't mean its ready for mass distribution.  That's going to take at least a few months before it's locally available.

Plus the first doses of any approved vaccine will go to front line health workers and the more vulnerable members of the community not NFL or CFB players and coaches.

Sadly I disagree with that completely. Trump already paid Moderna to have 100M vaccines ready, you’re telling me he won’t make sure a couple thousand go out to pump millions into the entertainment industry?
