What cracks me up about all this talk of the pass game and IT SEEMS most of the points have been scored through the ground game in these games (eagles and saints excluded).

Definitely not saying it’s not important or anything like that.

The offensive lines are the story of the playoffs not QB's.

Exactly.

These QBs had a great season. So we know these rushing TDs are mostly the exception not the rule.

Lol. Okay. All these offenses had a mostly balanced attack and leaned on the rush game this season.

Im just saying the notion it’s all on the QB to score isn’t completely true.

It's not just QB but these teams can find guys to plug in at RB and to some extent OL relatively easily and expect similar results. Look at the Chiefs losing Hunt. This is in large part because of what the passing game is doing which is in large part because of who the QB is.

He's gonna say Montana.  It's so laughable at this point.

I'll post this anytime someone calls him the greatest of all time.  Oh by the way they scored on that drive and won the game by 4 points:

Don't tell me you are an 'almost interception' guy...

In a sport that does everything to encourage parity those stats are just crazy.

The other AFC East teams have a lot to answer for though, if they were remotely competitive half the time the Patriots would of at least had to work a little bit harder to get all those home playoff games.

Well... all the cheating helps too.

I think that QB rating should be based on what should have happened, not what actually happened.

This is why it's called passer rating and not "QB rating".

Teams grade the QB performances in practice and in games and if the QB throws a poor pass you can be sure it's graded as such.

Whatever.  You know exactly what I meant.
