Schefter: McCreary to Rams for pick swaptitanruss replied to titanruss's topic in Titans and NFL Talk The "doesnt make financial sense as a non contender" pert. IIs much harder to be contenders next year if we are ok getting rid of young vet leadership / starters / and guys that show any semblance of a bright spot - because we aren't good this year. We never used to drop guys and have them produce elsewhere. Now, more than half the guys we trade / don't re-sign / cut are producing BETTER a their new stops. It would be nice to have some patience and let these guys grow together. Just because a guy is replaceable with someone in free agency doesnt mean we should go that route. You pay more for the same level player. Eat a little bit of money for consistency, keep vets in the locker room to help the young guys grow.

While we’re waiting for the shit to hit the fan….. With all the saber-rattling in recent weeks. geopolitical analyst Peter Zeihan offered up a couple short segments that examined the realities of Venezuela and the strategy and potential impact of military engagement.

Don’t be surprised if it’s Spags as head coach and Nagy as OC.

Week 9 Titans vs Chargers Discussiontitanruss replied to NashvilleNinja's topic in Titans and NFL Talk Yeah I've got my spaces...you gotta stay on top of cultivating your subs and denying the ragebait but its getting more and more every day.

Well hey, they have his #1 target from Miami just wasting away on the practice squad... Here's a question: would you rather they get whatever top tier edge rusher they can get with their first pick (Bain, Faulk) and grab a receiver in the second like Denzel Boston or Chrs Bell? Or would you prefer they go after Tyson or Tate with the 1st pick and go after an edge like Overton, Parker, or Sutton in the 2nd?
-
They need help in a few places on both sides of the ball, have to keep collecting assets and hitting on draft picks.
-
On his podcast today PK mentioned that Brownlee had started turning up late for meetings and had become a distraction in the locker room.
-
	I'll pass.
-
Hey, I'm just trying to get ya'll to find some common ground so you stop being so bitchy.
-
I watched the whole thing and was left like "what in the actual fuck?" I was mad at first, but then I laughed at the ingenuity of the shit post. It's like the next evolution in rick rolls.

All of it really builds on itself. I'd argue the defense is just as critical for Ward's development. The defense can't get off the field which means the offense is on the sidelines and can never develop a rhythm or play with a lead. When you're bad all these problems snowball and compound. They need an elite receiver and an elite running back but I'd still argue that defense is a bigger problem.

@oldschool and @Jamalisms both want to suck Trump's dick.
-
Go cry to Guru some more. I'm sure it will start making you look less impotent and stupid if you do it a few more times.
-
	describes your contributions perfectly!
-
	Derp
-
go back to sucking off Henry and thinking he's the reason the Titans were good at playaction. or thinking he's helping Jackson? Casuals gonna casual. And tihs clown is a mod? fix it @TitansGuru
-
What do you call it when someone suffers from dunning-kruger and insists the experts are doing it wrong ... but also thinks that the experts actually agree with them? No really name for it, that's just an oldschool kind of stupid.
-
poor poor jamal. Thinks I'm claiming the NFL doesn't understand offense when in the reality I'm just explaining what the McVays and others around the league have been showing us on game day for the past 10 years. Casuals gonna casual. Can't help it.
-
"The NFL agrees with me, that's why I think they don't pass enough!" Derp
-
Its all been covered. Look up EPA and dig into the data. No one has ever claimed running isn't important and that teams should pass 90-100% of the time. Thats a fallacy guys like jamal and the Henry homers like to claim to combat what the data shows.
-
@Mythos27 We can rest our case brother
-
I’d love to see data re: short passing (<5 yards) vs runs..
