Yep and this is why PFF ratings continue to really hold respect amongst those in the game

And everyone gets that. The thing you seem to keep ignoring is whats involved in trying to do everything to win. Sometimes that means trying something even if it doesn't fit the generic mold of things to do. Necessity is the mother of invention and desperation can lead to wildly good or bad results. Being cookie cutter when everything is going wrong is just about the last thing that is going to fix anything. I would go so far as to say you are almost advocating for the robinski method. -
Poor jets.

Speaking of aweat, pff gave him a high 70s grade, the highest for our defense last week. Did anyone see anything good from him? His only play of note was a freebie sack from what i can recall. The rest of the game he was being pushed around without double teams.

Dream Madden trade would be Sweat and maybe a 5 for Brian Thomas
-
Part of me believes Latham to be salvageable-- i think there is possible a top tier RT there, but Sweat im pretty much on my last ends with.

It's not that difficult of a concept to understand that while the outcome of upcoming games may not matter to some fans and posters, it matters a great deal to players and coaches where future contracts could be decided.
- Today

It wasn't two games. For 6 seasons + 2 games, he wasn't the guy. The first 16 games of the season were the only time in his career where he looked like a starting QB. The risk that he'd return to his mean level of play - which was present in his final two games- wasn't worth moving on from a QB who they thought enough of to move up and draft in the 1st round.
-
Vrable was and will always be a ticking time bomb. His ego and need for control is going to screw him again. He is a good head coach when he has a good staff and people limit his power to running the team. The problem is he loves yes men and puts loyalty over ability in his coaches. His judgment on young talent is really questionable, almost every guy he pounded the table for was a massive waste. If he can learn to just coach the team and let his subordinates do their job he could be great but I seriously doubt he has the willingness or ability to do so.

Speaking of Barry Bonds, this is from another thread.

Got ya, im not a fan of that at all but i hear ya. Never liked any red on the uniforms and couldnt for the life of me understand why people liked those fake red jerseys. -
He's one of the best offensive minds in the NFL. But I also pointed out that handing your organization over to him (or anyone) could definitely go wrong. With that being said, it seems that Thomas isn't a great fit for that offense. But he'd be absolutely ideal for Arthur Smith's (no reason at all that I bring that up)

Indiana LB Aiden Fisher will be making plays on Sundays next year. Play speed, compete skills and instincts. He's a "make it" guy. _________ PICK-6 by Aiden Fisher gets the Hoosiers on the board vs. UCLA
-
Bring back Jeff Fisher. 7-10 and 8-9 baby!

You can’t even count Vrabe’s last season. His GM absolutely fucked him during the draft. Say what you want about his coaching ability, he’s turned around that NE franchise and his players love him there.

Because you're dying off, you geritol fuck. Like war vets reuniting every year. A couple less each year because you're all too fucking old. -
I honestly have no idea what you're on and why you can't differentiate posters. It's weird and you're getting old. I never said those last two games stopped them from signing him. I said if they win the last game they're in the divisional instead of WC. If they make a run then yes it changes the calculus. Duh.

That is very strange he must be going full diva already(behind the scenes)

Week 8 - Titans vs. Colts Discussion
freakingeek replied to titanskick8851's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
There's only two coaches gone. While a I agree Callahan Jr. was in way over his head, there are still some experienced coaches left on the staff. I agree with you about Spears but maybe there other mitigating factors. Pollard is much better at receiving so they may be trying to help Ward as much as possible. The coaching staff is trying to win games. That's their #1 focus. The "we're so bad we might as well try anything" isn't going to get any traction and shouldn't. Players EARN reps. They don't get them by default. There are a lot of knowledgeable posters here but I don't believe they know more than the guys who do it all day, every day, 7 days a week. -
I may have been one of the highest guys on danny dimes and even I didnt think he was going to go full Tannehill. Take ARs job and make the colts reasonably better for sure though.

We're going to get absolutely creamed on Sunday without Simmonds in there. Jonathan Taylor will run wild. 20 point loss wouldn't surprise me. -

Thanks for proving why you are just a fan. Imagine thinking back to back games against two Superbowl Contenders where they couldn't protect the QB and allowed near constant pressure influenced a decision that was actually made months prior. You can't make this shit up. This is a perfect example of why GMs roll their eyes at people like tictacdumbass thinking they can run a team.
