The Man has the right attitude to be the greatest.  The greatest listen.   The feet.  Gotta listen.  He's tough, but the goal is greatness.

His injury is supposedly the same as Levis had and Levis claimed he couldn't throw without pain and his shoulder looked fucked in pics. 
 

It's been a worry for me and it could relate to accuracy and throwing power - if not back to where it was before the injury.

That isn't a knock on him but greatness at the qb position is exceptionally rare. Even during the golden age of qbs you only had 4-5 of those guys at once. 2-3 is more common. 

True that, but that's my QB.  Who developed Cam Ward?   He did go to Miami!  Today a QB's development begins in middle/high school.  Cam didn't go to one of Texas' many nationally recognized prep schools.  Cam played on an 8-man football team.  The only one thinking they were developing a NFL QB was Cam.

 

I see no reason why if he really tries and the coaches work with him--they can't help those short balls that eat teams up.  He's a big ball hunter-needs to be developed to understand why Mahomes gets those deep shots is because he's deadly all over the field.

 

I even think Saleh may have requested the 9er's go after him with certain defenses to test him so they/he can see where he needs to improve.  Practice.  Just practice smart.

You are correct.  It's just for us a T-10 starter would be great. imb

The Chargers could have the best offense in the NFL this year under McDaniel.  Not that surprising of a report.

The only thing I don't get with their offense is Orande Gadsden looked pretty good last year but then they bring in Njoku. Idk how McDaniel views tight ends, but I'm thinking they're either peripheral for the passing game or maybe Gadsden just can't block all that well.

I think McDaniel just identifies guy that can help. Njoku can still play and is a reliable vet with some explosion left. 

Its something I dont think we ever do - fill in roster depth with established vets that started recently. We've done it at WR but these arent the guys you want to have to be your starter. They are just high floor backups.

Jonnu made a pro bowl under him, and he wasn't the same athlete that he was earlier in his career.   So he understands how to use them.  But I'm guessing Gadsden is seen as similar to Antonio Gates rather than a true TE

Antonio Gates is a mother of a comparison. Sure you don't have something a little more down to earth in the bag?

we have seen it too many times as Titans fans- the young QB struggling preseason doesn’t matter until it does. 
 

Not overly concerned yet at all, but you hate to see your young QB have big accuracy issues and struggling to read vanilla defenses. Still think he pulls it together this year

He looked like a different player when going inside. He gives us versatility. He wasn't drafted to be an edge rusher. He is only going to get bigger and stronger. I like seeing him get reps at outside even if it isn't his strength. Worst case scenario he is a solid run stopper they can throw out there on the edge. His upside is definitely when they kick him inside. Hard to imagine him not getting better with this coaching staff and scheme.
