titanruss
If the chargers are getting hurt by electricity, they should change their name. Edit: So i just learned that the chargers were named by Barron Hilton because he liked when someone in the crowd played a bugle and the crowd yelled "charge" Edited August 18 by titanruss Starkiller, and Supernope 1

When a guy is injured constantly in college it usually means he’s injured a lot in the pros too. You can’t take a gamble that high in the draft on a guy like that

You can’t take a gamble that high in the draft on a guy like that An extensive injury history for a high draft pick is one of the first things people forget WHEN the bet pays off. Ex: Marshon Lattimore and his hammies coming out of school might have labeled him as untouchable high in the draft for several teams. But the guy overcame and it’s been easy to forget that he was injured for most of his college years. I’m sure there are other examples, but hammies for a downfield CB is like shoulders for box safety — once they start with the injuries, surgeries, secondary injuries from compensating , it usually ends up more like a Josh Doctson outcome. https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2017/story/_/id/18985885/2017-nfl-draft-marshon-lattimore-says-hamstrings-perfectly-healthy Edited August 18 by begooode oldschool

Searched for a bit and it was selected by Hilton after a public contest. it was always from the cheer.... like "charge into battle"... though the bolt was there early. One of the first logos was a horse charging into battle with a lightning bolt on a shield. There's also unverified rumors that it was connected to a credit (charge) card produced by Hilton at pretty much the exact time the team came about.
