Diego was a good college QB. Unfortunately for him what worked for him in college is not going to cut it in the NFL. The fact that he's maybe 5' 10" and a douche bag also doesn't help.

I’ve watched every snap Pavia took the last 2 years. amazing college QB. Amazing leader. Amazing locker room guy. But he’s 5’9” with an average arm and average athleticism. I want him to make it becau

When a guy comes in with a bias against him, justified or not, it sticks in this league unless you do something undeniably excellent. His attitude cost him a lot of good grace with the league.

My guess is that his mouth pissed off a number of the players and especially the coaches.  Very telling that he was cut even before training camp.  DK if he can even stay in the UFL or CFL.  Sad as was really fun to watch here at Vandy.

I think he’s like those old school Heisman winning QBs who were good runners and solid passers that could thrive in college but aren’t cut out to succeed in the NFL. He’s tough for a little guy but he’s just not big enough to take the hits he would take in the NFL playing they way he played in college.

He aspires to be a modern day Doug Flutie but he has a lot to prove to repeat that. He’s going to need to prove himself in a spring league somewhere, which is how Flutie made it back to the top.

You could be jumping to conclusions here.  They may have not had a spot and let him go to latch onto another team early in the game.

The Ravens signed Pavia as an undrafted free agent in April after he became the first Heisman Trophy finalist in 12 years to go undrafted.

Kinda surprising to see him waived this early.  5' 9.78"    Lot of production for a team playing in the SEC.  Bryce Young is 0.22" taller.

It was justified. He's a 5' 9" douchebag who's inaccurate throwing the football. The success rate of those guys is zero percent. He was lucky to get a sniff by a team. I'm surprised he got that.

He threw for 500+ yards more than Jay Cutler did when Cutler won the SEC offensive player of the year. Just sayin

Pavia's only role in the NFL would be as a scout team QB the week his team is playing against Doug Floutie.

Problem is Floutie retired 20 years ago.

Bryce Young and Kyler Murray are still around!
