japan
I wasn’t thrilled with the Tate pick, but it does make sense. Cam has to start getting some reliable weapons (who don’t drop passes) and while Tate isn’t close to a Chase or Jefferson pick he’s the most polished and solid receiver in the draft. Technically sound, doesn’t drop balls at all, excellent in downfield blocking. And if you trade back and try to get Tate where the mocks say he should be slotted there is no guarantee you get him. I like this pick way more than Love. Edited April 24 by japan DCTitan, and begooode

OzTitan
Tate can 100% be a superstar. You don't need to be an athletic freak to be a star NFL WR. Consistent big catches combined with an elite technician will produce a top 5 WR. DCTitan, NashvilleNinja, and Callidus
AvgJoe
Last night was pretty bad imo. You couldn’t open social media for fear of the picks being spoiled. The NFL and their carriers need to figure out how to make this work because 8 minutes didn’t work. begooode

You never know how things will turn out & far be it from me to criticize a team that’s dominated the league for near a decade but I thought their 1st rd was miserable. I get Delane, it was a desperate need pick but you’d rather not have to trade up for him. But Peter Woods IMO was by far the worst pick in the 1st rd. Horrible pick. He’s short, zero length, disappointed in testing. He’s the only guy to ever just run a 10 yard LOL. The other drills he did were meh. And he had zero production. It was laughable, I forget if it was Lewis Riddick or Bucky Brooks last night but they were going on about how he looked like Aaron Donald at times. LOL. Carter and Reese to go with Burns....I have no idea what Dart will become but they have a serious pass rush, have built their OL and Nabors returns this season The NYG actually made the most sense for Reese IMO because they already have Carter, Burns, Thibadeoux. Reese can stay at off ball LBer but still have a big impact on the QB by blitzing, rather than going thru extensive growing pains becoming a full time edge. The Giants have some serious pass rushers. Aundrey Bruce, Tracy Rocker, Takeo Spikes, etc.... I may be wrong but I think Aundray Bruce was picked #1 overall over Neil Smith who went 2. That was a tough one. Doesn't allow for equal time, so it's a nonstarter, but it likely allows for more time than current setup and prevents the actual draft getting ahead of coverage. Boston seems like a high floor, low ceiling guy. And Reese is a raw prospect with question marks. Maybe he'll fulfill on his potential, and good for him if he does, but Faulk is a potential Hulk at DE. His ceiling may not be quite as high as Reese's but his floor looks way higher. Justafan
There's so many things we don't know that play into the evaluation. What are the traits that the Titans prioritize the most? Reese might not have made certain thresholds that they look for and was never even a real option for them. Same for Boston. We'll never know. If Reese and Boston become superstars and Tate and Faulk both flame out then we can obviously know that they missed but if it's even in the same hemisphere then scheme fit and trait prioritization play a huge role in how the Titans saw these guys. begooode, and NashvilleNinja
