titansfan
Its liked the Bills planned to do what Ravens Owner, Steve Biscotti did but in execution it went the complete opposite way
IsntLifeFunny
4 hours ago, NashvilleNinja said: Free agent WRs, the best ones available, are going to be just about as expensive. Not to mention Ridley will count $8M in dead cap space as a post June 1 cut. $13M if they cut him before. So it's still going to cost as much, if not more, to cut and replace him than it is to just keep him. These FA WRs all have questions too and are possibly not much better than Ridley. His not being very good could also have been a result of not being in the best offense. And investing a lot in the position now also probably precludes us from going after options in 2027. It might be better to just focus more on improving the RB and TE room this year and see what kind of progress the young guys make. Nah fuck that he was flat out terrible last year. It doesn't mean he can't produce in a better offense, but he's 31 and coming off a broken leg. If they cut him it's because they don't believe he will produce, not so much how last year played out. Not going to make excuses for his play though. He was dog water.
Popular Post AussieTitanFan08
The Titans need to stop being a retirement home for aging injured WR. Over and over again across multiple regimes they keep thinking this will be the time we catch lightning in a bottle and it will work. Had Ridley not had the broken leg and hamstring issues last year there could be an argument made for some continuity being worthwhile but paying a 32y/o WR coming off a broken leg over $20 million is crazy stuff. titanskick8851, IsntLifeFunny, tgo, and 2 others

Just isn't going to happen - not realistic. He's getting cut. Edited January 22 by tgo

PK and Gall both have significantly changed their tone on Ridley over the last 2 weeks going from he is out the door no discussion needed to now Borgonzi hasn't decided his fate yet. I just hope this is a case of holding Ridley until a suitable replacement is found and then they will release him.

Then restructuring Ridley. I'm just not sold at all on Doubs, Wandale Robinson, etc being some great alternative solution. This is why WR at 4 needs to be strongly considered. Nothing is more important than Ward and his development. Get this kid some weapons.
Somedude
I rather they draft a No 1 and sign a No 2 or 3. Ayo and Dike round out the cast of WRs.

They need to actually add a WR to the roster in this process. Edited January 22 by Starkiller
tgo
Obviously they’re going to draft at least 1 receiver and sign at least 1 veteran for the young room, likely more.
