He goes right back to it and doubles down that his business understanding is more valid than game tape, splits, and the literal change of our blocking techniques being deployed in our run scheme.

When you change a system—whether it's a workflow, sales pipeline, or client intake process—it's not about swapping the person at the top.
Fixing operations means: a) improving who manages different access points in the process, and b) getting better people doing analysis and planning. It's about whether the week-to-week process works or doesn't.

Leadership's job—whether Saleh, Vrabel, or Callahan—is to hire people who know the process they want to implement, assign process owners to different pieces, and have those leaders oversee execution.
If results are bad, you improve the process or improve the people implementing it. That's what the guy at the top does. The Titans only changed the guy at the top all year. Their week-to-week schedule allowed zero time for a process overhaul (trust me, I've done plenty).
That's why we saw minimal improvement. Same players, same coaches, same processes.

Yes, there was some improvement—players developed, process owners adapted (as they would under any leader), and opposition got worse. But McCoy didn't dramatically turn anything around. If he had, he'd have head coaching offers. Everyone knows he didn't. The team adapted as it would have anyway.

Every coach on last year's Titans should carry the stink of how bad it was because they're the ones who implemented and ran those processes. Callahan's accountability is that he recruited the staff and guided that process construction from the beginning.
If you didn't like our results, you shouldn't like any of the offensive coaches who ran the show. It's logic.

But most of you have a shallow understanding of how organizations actually work, how turnarounds happen, and what executive leaders are accountable for.

I've led multiple million dollar M&A integrations and built system-wide transformation playbooks. This is what I do. So honestly—I don't care what you think. It's like giving an MD your opinion on medical treatment.

Quick question: did you watch the games in question (even some of them)?

There was an uptick in offense everywhere after the Callahans were dumped.  Pollard looked like a decent Rb after looking finished while the Callahans were here.  The OL opened lanes and cut down on the sacks allowed.  And Ward looked comfortable and produced significantly more.

Not only was the offense better, it clearly wasn't the same offense after the bye. All the splits and personnel changed. The blocking game up front changed. They cut out a ton of the longer designing runs, ran way more PA under center, and ran a ton more 2 and 3 TE sets, which is absolutely not a feature of the Callahan offense.

What are the chances we get a Sunday news dump before the Super Bowl tomorrow with the coaching staff? Lol

Not high as today was the 5th straight day Borgonzi and the entire front office have been locked in the draft war room watching and grading the entire 2026 draft class.

You're exaggerating. It got better over time. There was no some magical uptick.  And yes there was improvement. They stopped playing the Broncos.  They scored a very magical 13 pts against the pats with less than 50 yards rushing.

They then scored a very impressive 14 points agains Indy,  They didnt break 100 yards rushing until game 14 against the browns.   There was no magical turnaround. There was adaptation and player improvement.

So in the first 6 games of the season with BC, they broke 20 points 2x. In the next 6 games (same amount of time), they broke 20 points with such a great impressive turn around... and dramatically different offense...2x. lol

You guys are nuts.  It was the same freaking staff, the ame processes, the same playbook and the same terminology.  So they dramatically change the offense against the pats?  scored 13 points, rushed for an impressive 22 yards. Yeah but difference.

Its really hard to argue with delusion.  Look at Pollard's rush yards. It was 7 games before his production increased at all.  Yes. the line slowly got better. The coaching staff slowly adapted.  And by the last few games.. they started to click. exactly what any reasonable fan would assume would happen as they got to the easier part of the schedule, the rookie qb starts to adapt and the new online gels.

The way you guys talk McCoy should be caoch of the year.  Its pure delusion. I mean our top rusher 4 games after Callahn was freaking Cam Ward with 33 yards lol.

6 games after BC was fired they scored a very impressive 3 points!  gainst Jax... what are you guys smoking?

For some reason you guys are only remembering the last 3 games of the season and pretending that was right after BC.

More delusion.  they slowly got better bc Cam slowly got better at getting the ball out. There was no magical transformation.   After giving up 6 sacks against the raiders, they gave up 5 sacks againt the pats.   Then 4 agaiinst Indy, Chargers, and Seattle. By Jax Cam finally started getting the ball out... of course they only scored 3 total points that game and had a total 200 yards total offense with 60 yards rushing. So I dont know how much of a total offensive improvement you want to claim there.

I watched all these games..did you guys?  Or did you tune out until the last 3 games of the season where we won a couple of meaniginess games ot drop our pick in the draft?

More delusion.  titans were way more successful offensively in shotgun apparently in both run and pass. And ran way more shotgun than under center.

Prag gonna prag but this idea they radically changed the offense is fan fiction. They made some tweaks and altered personnal grouping frequency. They didnt overhaul the blocking technique and route concepts. Lol

They definitely overhauled the offense and stopped running the long designed runs that populated under Bill Callahan. Any notion otherwise isn't based in reality. They were not running the same offense as under Callahan.
