It's doing a case study about how the teams that win are conducting themselves. It's a deeper discussion about what positional value actually means.

It's not just about Love. Drafting Sonny Styles or Caleb Downs 4th overall would be just as retarded.

Why? You do not waste premium draft capital on non-premium positions.

Who do you suggest they take?  There are nothing but non -premium positions in this draft.  I'm fine with them trading back.  But there are a lot of good players at premium positions in the league who are on terrible teams, and a lot of good rosters which aren't littered with Top 10 picks.  A competent GM and coaching staff should be capable of filling out the entire roster to the point that one "wasted" pick on an elite offensive playmaker won't kill them.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

TN blew a top 5 pick on WR Davis, how did that work out?  Bottom line with the draft you have to draft HOF talent in the top 5.  If you miss it hurts the team for a decade.  I think the positional value BS is way over rated.  That all being said I do not think any WR or RB is generational in this draft.  I do think there are generational players available at LB, S and DE.  So with this pick I want TN to get a stud and I really do not care what position Borgo goes because quite frankly this team needs a lot of hole filled.

Giving up your top 5 picks to get mid to late picks and 2nd round picks is a good way to fill holes with good but not great players. This franchise needs cornerstone bluechip players or the next playoff window is going to be filled with lots of 1 and done appearances,

or depend on getting luckier than the other teams

if there is no blue chip guy- trade down but don’t waste top 5 picks to fill holes in any year

I think the argument is different. There are no can’t miss prospects in the top 5 this season. Love is the closest to ‘can’t miss’ but his position is the most devalued in football. There are a lot of good players in the first 3 rounds and maximizing our picks in those rounds, with a roster devoid of talent seems to me to be wise. But it does depend on another team wanting to make a deal. I’m fine with Love if the pass rushers are gone, you don’t value Tate at 4 and there isn’t a trade partner willing to give up the proper value.

It’s shitty that the elite prospects are at positions that shouldn’t warrant a top 5 pick, Sonny Styles, Love and Downs.

I dunno why more elite prospects didnt come out for this draft

I think 1500 to 2000 yds of total offense and 10-15 total TDs is pretty damn valuable. I know there is no guarantee Love puts up those kind of numbers in his first season, but I think most agree that is the type of RB he is. That kind of production is absolutely worth a top 5 pick. If Saleh works his magic with the defense, and we end up  with a defense like he had in NY, we will absolutely be in contention. Add in the franchise QB we drafted last year playing against defenses with a pick your poison dilemma.

Either ineligible or they're living the life off that NIL tit.

Well we know Dante Moore didn't come out because he didn't want to play for the Jets so it only makes sense the Jets will draft him next year

I'm missing the context for this.

It’s a post from the Jets account showing text messages from Saleh and Douglas the morning before they drafted Malachi Corley who was a horrific pick.

That Borgo shouldn't listen to Salehs input on prospects I guess

It’s a joke
