  1. 1. Where are you on Ward at this point?

    • 100% (total mulligan season, his supporting team is absolute garbage)
    • 75% (still very confident, some creeping doubts but nothing I'm worried he can't overcome)
    • 50% (He's shown enough to give us legit hope, but also shown enough for us to think he could legitimately bust out)
    • 25% (He might still be alright, but I've got major concerns that we may have made a mistake)
    • I've given up/never wanted the bum in the first place (told ya'll we shoulda traded back)

Judging him completely on his own I thought he'd be better. He's left too many plays on the field when the play was there. He's played too fast and rushed things. He's bailed the pocket and created hi

It just takes time. Ward has been good at every level, and he's kind of a late bloomer anyway (in the sense that he didn't get to Miami right away...he earned his way there). No one will outwork him. That's HUGE. People throw around 'you can't coach that!' too much, but in this case, it's true. You can't coach willpower and desire. He has it as much as anyone.

He's a rookie on a bad team, surrounded by below average players (some of whom will grow with him and hopefully become above average players...Helm seems especially intriguing to me, and Dike of course). There was no way he was going to look good the first half of the season. Everything was against him, and he was learning the transition. I'm honestly surprised he's playing this well this quickly, especially against Houston and Seattle. If he looks decent against the Browns (who honestly might have the best def in the league...their offense hides that), then that's even better. But even if he doesn't, he's grown by leaps.

I can't watch those nerds on youtube

You should watch this one. They talk a lot and I don’t watch them often, but they did a very good review of the  last game.

It’s not ‘rah rah’ but anybody who doesn’t know everything might find it interesting.  They did a good job.

You’re gonna wanna listen to The Athletic Football Podcast breakdown Ward for the all 22 . @AussieTitanFan08 will post it I’m sure.

Great episode and they’re pretty spot on: The top 4 or 5 throws he makes a game are insane, we need to be patient with him as he plays through his struggles, the system and weapons suck, and he was great against Seattle
