OnsideKick Posted yesterday at 04:20 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 04:20 AM (edited) #Titans WR Calvin Ridley (hamstring) and standout DT Jeffery Simmons (hamstring) are both listed as questionable and both expected to play, sources say. A boost for TEN. ________ Texans QB C.J. Stroud is out for Sunday’s game against the Titans, and with Houston having a short week ahead of Thursday night’s game against Buffalo, it remains uncertain whether its starting quarterback will be able to clear concussion protocol in time to play the Bills, per source. A boost for TEN. Although the lack of practice squad elevations tipped this likelihood am a little surprised Simmons is playing as he went inside during Friday's practice and this training staff has been very cautious with returning players so far this season. Don't make yourself so miserable you can't enjoy the gift horse. Which is more valuable to the Titans right now: Big Jeff or a 1st round OT/Edge/CB/WR prospect? These mofos needs 5 first round picks to contend within Cam's 1st contract AND draft well elsewhere. We can either trade him and speed up the process or let him convalesce. Everyone always says...oh don't trade Big Jeff cause "you're just gonna wanna draft another Jeff" but no. That's not what they need. They don't need a DT. Everyone always says...oh don't trade Big Jeff cause "you're just gonna wanna draft another Jeff" but no. That's not what they need. They don't need a DT. We dont need a guy tied for the 8th best pass rush win rate in the nfl? That includes edge rushers btw. If you just compare him to his peers on the inside, he is a full 33% more efficient than the next highest guy on the list. 15 vs 20% He is doing while being double teamed 65% of the time on a defense with nobody else to even worry about let game plan against. The dude has been an absolute monster this year. Edge guys get all the glory because they put up big numbers in the sack column. If we had guys who could take advantage of how jeff shatters the pocket he would be even more valuable. How many cbs would you take over him? It better be a short list. A stud LT would be great but giving up our only legit star player for a chance at one is a hell of a price tag. Wrs are great, but you can find very very good ones in the 2nd round on the regular. Edge, with jeff outplaying the pass rushing productivity of all but the elite right now, you better hope you are right on that pick. cenj, IsntLifeFunny, CreepingDeath, and 5 others
