Their process is not designed to move faster than other teams. It never was. 

 

It is very clearly designed to appear extremely thorough because their target is "2nd tier" candidate and they need to sell a thorough process.

to be honest, I never understood why fans think firing a coach early gives the team a headstart. The truth is they can put together candidate list but how long does that really take? The clock basically starts for all teams on black monday. and the Titans are moving too slow and casting too wide a net in my opinion.

My point exactly. If you fire your coach before everyone else, you should plan to move faster than everyone else, if your plan is to hire the best coach available.

Yeah. The Titans purposely leaked thls out to look better .  Reading the tweet it says the Falcon thought the Titans were their main threat to hiring Stefanski.
