Chiefs aren't making an effort to keep Nagy.  Wonder why?

Reid and Nagy are very close. They want the best for him. That's why Reid took his playcalling duties but didn't cross him off the list

My thoughts.   I post infrequently nowadays but do want to do so tonight.  I have vacillated with each new entry into the HC/OC sweepstakes.  I studied what I could with available data on ea

FWIW on F Words Zach Lyons just said he heard the interview between McDaniel and the Titans went “very well”.

He won when he had a viable QB and his background as an OC with the Vikings was impressive. Its the freaking Browns man, they are total shit show. you think he was going to win this year with a 40 year old Flacco, and scrubs like Gasbriel and Sanders at QB. And they still won 5 games.....

Honestly going 3-4 with Shedeur as a starter in a lost season, 2 of the losses being by 3 points (one to the Bills, one where they scored 29 on the Titans) might be the most impressive case he has!

Sanders this season put on some of the worst tape you’ll ever see

I really don't understand the Stefanski love around here. That guy didn't accomplish much with the tools he was given. There was some real star power in Cleveland.

I'm out on Nagy for the simple fact that I prefer an offense driven team led by the guy calling plays (Kingsbury). But comparing his time in Chicago with Stefanski in Cleveland, Nagy wins. He did more with less. Nagy brings a level of creativity that can be dangerous if sloppy, but the culture of this team seems to love that shit.

If you put Nagy in Stefanski's shoes, I think he comes out with more wins in Cleveland.

Mayfield carried multiple coaches to the playoffs? Are we being serious here?

My point was that he’s a 3x AP under two other HCs and multiple other OCs but never found that level of success under Stefanski in his 3 years so - yes absolutely serious.

He actually did better before Stefanski got there. He seemed to be developing until then.

He had one good not great year. Flacco was playing at a pretty high level. Watson was an AP before he went to Cleveland. There’s reason to believe Watson was the problem but we don’t know that. Plenty of reasons for skepticism in my mind.

Baker has never won an All Pro and never will

He was terrible in Cleveland outside of one year where Stefanski did a good job with him, then lucked into 2 elite play callers and now looks like the average to below average QB he is

Winning a playoff game with Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry and Donovan Peoples jones as your passing game is a huge notch in Stefanskis belt
