Only thing you look forward to at this point is a 1 pick and a trade back for a nice haul. We desperately need draft capital and we have plenty of money in free agency. Lol even if we get the #1 pick (which we won't). The #1 pick is not netting an haul as this coming draft is about as average as average gets.

The Cowboys are missing their starting C and RG also their best WR and still put 23pts on one of the best defenses in the NFL through 3QTRS.

Apparently not if you dont know teams trade up for bad qb prospects all the time. 

 

Edit: and thats assuming these are all bad qb prospect which is kinda funny since almost every mock going around right now has 2-4 going in the top 5.

There doesn't have to be... all you need is 1 team to be afraid of another team taking their guy before them. And if have pick 1 which is what this whole hypothetical is about, puts you in the driver seat.

Or just one qb that breaks out amongst the rest and has one (or more ) team fall in love with.

At this point,  who cares about draft position.  We're going to win 3 meaningless games and slide down to pick 8.

I fully expected us to be this terrible but I am surprised by how badly coached the offensive line is and play design. Regardless of talent, the games I’ve watched including New Orleans today against buffalo and Cleveland against Detroit, our offensive design, play calling and flow is the worse I’ve seen this year or even in the last 2-3 years.

Completely possible, but that doesnt change the actual history being discussed.
