Week 3 Titans vs Colts Discussion

There is a lot of history on the Titans relating to being 0-2, facing a 2-0 division teams etc... that favors the Titans.

I don't trust any of it though

If they had a better pass rush, I’d be more optimistic since I could see them rattling Jones and maybe forcing some mistakes.

It just seems like they have to play lights out on one side of the ball to even have a chance.

PK and some of the fans vastly underrate what Simmons does. He's a straight up game wrecker and totally worth his contract.    He just turned 28, he's got 3-4 years left of prime

“WHY CANT THEY PROTECT HIM?!”   *by the end of the quarter*   ”WHY ARENT THEY TAKING MORE DIALED UP DEEP SHOTS?!”

Saying this team needs a win is the understatement of the century while I'm not in the camp Callahan is facing immediate job security concerns the pressure of continual losing does nothing useful for

Daniel Jones could def stink it up and lose the game for the Colts. Otherwise the match ups do not favor the Titans

I’m not even sure there are many games where the matchups favor the Titans .

Saints and Browns maybe .  But Garrett vs Moore is a bad mismatch.

The entire season is basically evaluation mode.  Which is why I want to see those 2 CB they claimed in the rotation pretty soon

Even more than those 2 CBs, I want to see Winston.

How can the Titans org put a staff of winners around Cam Ward to groom him into an next NFL great?

Was listening to an Andrew Luck podcast and he was describing just how nurturing it was for his growth playing under Harbaugh/Roman at Stamford, perfecting things like his snap count and how to control the run game as a QB and then linking up with Arians as soon he got to Indy.

In case you were unsure of the temperature of titans fans and media, Zach Lyons and Stoney Keeley were already flirting with the idea of firing Borgonzi and Brinker along with Callahan lol

They have lost their minds.

They were tying themselves in knots talking about how bad the draft class is lol that and Dan Moore through two games is more than enough evidence!

Colts are improved this year. How long that will last is another question with Jones at QB. To have a chance to beat the Colts the defense is going to have to play well, pressure Jones and keep him uncomfortable. We need some turnovers as well.

Getting the plays in on time and pass protection is the key. And we have got to stop with the penalties. We're #1 in the league in penalties and sacks allowed. If that continues, we end up 0-3. Hopefully Zeitler will be a go. I'm not feeling too positive about Latham and Sneed.

Lyons is usually better than that. Jfc.
