Pulse Check - Day Before Season (Cam focused)

Cam Ward resets things for the Titans but he's a rookie with a tough early schedule and the team is certainly incomplete. I'm curious what people are thinking on the eve of our regular season.

 

I could ask a million questions, figured I'd keep it mostly simple. Feel free to add narrative here with more specifics or thoughts, if you feel so inclined.

I'm just guessing, and I hope I'm wrong, but I think this could be one of those rare Jags seasons that leaves you thinking they've finally turned the corner.

 

As for the wins? I think we just get to 8 wins. I actually kinda hope we don't if it means we get a higher draft slot that allows us to secure a top defensive piece we're coveting. But unlike last year I'm not going to be rooting for a tank. We got our QB. Let the rest of the chips fall where they may.

 

Also, Cam goes for 4-4.5k yards and 35 touchdowns. Yes he does.

It's not that many tits IMO but the odd number of tits is not something I am accustomed to.

I'm expecting 4k yds 40 td (plus or minus 10%). Won't be enough to win more than 8 games because the depth is terrible.

If the defense is bad and the OL is good, he should break the franchise record.

I think they might scratch out 5 wins.  Less than 5 is 4.  6-7.  No 5.

Moon played with less games per season.  Season per game average is  2 .  Much better.

Are these questions asking specifically about just his rookie season?

I don't believe in Callahan until he shows me something more and the weapons are not good unless the rookies really develop. 

 

Cam could be great and still fail to put up impressive numbers this year. 

 

The one thing he really does have going for him is that I think the pass protection will be better, and they will be trailing often so he'll have to pass to try and catch up.

Yeah, unless I'm forgetting a last minute change then it looks like the options got edited by someone else. I originally had 3-5 as an option with nothing below that because I refuse to consider it.
