Def rooting against him

you could say it's "roasting on an open fire"

Maybe he should just wear an "S" instead of a number.

I never mind a downhill runner.  I thought there was a big chance the team took Martinez.  Familiar with our new QB and filled a need.  I'll trust Callahan Sr. and the new regime on picks such as this and Dike however, I'm just assuming they know what they want more then I do

He must have been a former QB as well.  Impressive arm.  Imagine the trick plays we could run with him.

I like that run in the 2nd clip.

I guess as a situational player at best on offense his background at LB should give him a big presence on ST too.  Could have been one of the main reasons he got the nod over a player like Martinez.

I mean... he broke the tackle well but he didn't follow the flow of the blocking at all. Had a mini freak out actually.

Probably mostly due to being so green at the position.  Turning what was likely a run for loss into a nice gain using a bit of power, balance and straight line speed seems like what he'll need to use in his role here.  Hopefully the blocking is a bit cleaner though.

Gonna be interesting battle between him and Micah Bernard. I really like Bernard's initial burst when he gets the football.  Don't know what prompted me to go back and study that kid, but I would love to see him get some opportunities in camp/preseason.
