Are you specifically talking about the guy who went undrafted?

The hype on him is going to be over the top

Everybody loves an underdog, particularly one that was Cam's favorite target at the U.

That video wasn’t even in slow motion. It’s just Restrepo.

QB1 Mood

God help us if he opens up with 4 TD and 0 picks.....

For some reason, he was mesmerized that Cam could keep talking to the players on the field AND hear the play call in his headset.

Levis has already lost this job.

Or he’s calling Ward out for trash talking when he needs to be listening

In the press conference Callahan was actually praising Cam's ability to talk shit while still listening to him. He said he was able to call the play and execute it despite the fact he was talking shit to Jeff while Callahan was talking to him. Callahan said he has never been around anyone with that ability. Maybe it was sarcasm, but it seemed genuine to me.

Yeah it’s getting ridiculous. We should cut him and bring back everyone‘s favorite premier 5th round pick, Kyle Philips. No one ever overhyped him based purely on camp reports and extremely limited film.

I always defended kyle for his performance in game. It was an insanely limited sample size(4 or 5 games) but he averaged 4 catches a game which for us at the time would have been huge as sad as that is.

He had 8 catches in 4 games his rookie year and 15 in 9 games his second year. I liked him too especially for a 5th round pick, but it’s awfully rich for people who were slobbering all over him a few years ago to now pull the draft capital card on Restrepo. Sure, 5th round is better than undrafted, but both are draft capitals that traditionally fail an overwhelming majority of the time; if I had to guess, I’d actually say there are probably more successful UDFA WRs than there are 5th rounders (though it would mainly be due to the sheer volume of UDFAs compared to 5th rounders).
