It's always a bad year to get a QB in free agency.....

So Ryan Stonehouse just signed with Miami… to play for ST coordinator Craig AUKERMAN that almost ended his career! Good luck Stoney! 😳

I will take worst team in the league over that 6-7 win dead end team 10 times out of 10

That’s basically PIT except they win 8-9 games and beg whichever has been qb isn’t totally over the hill.

Sure, if I'm the Vikings and have injury concerns about my 2nd year 1st round QB , I'm going to sign a 37 year old QB who didn't play last year and missed multiple games the 2 previous years  ...

Well they consider themselves to be contenders and don’t want to rely on (effectively) a rookie QB who hasn’t played football in a year even if he is fully healthy coming off a major knee injury

Then they should have made an effort to keep Darnold.

It would be hard to see the Vikings not being in on Darnold if McCarthy is seriously injured. Or, if they ware sour on him why not chase the upside of A-Rod a year removed from the injury? He clearly wants to be there, and Vikings have one of the best offensive situations in the NFL.

Either way, great move for Tannehill. I am both surprised and not surprised he completely sat out last season (I always thought his agents should have approached the Eagles so he could back up Hurts with a chance at a Super Bowl win with AJ where he would at least get to contribute in the regular season because of the inevitable injury--I was right there).

Not really a better situation for a guy like him than Minnesota from a football standpoint.
