titansfan
Another thing as I assess this draft class is projecting when the run on positions with the most depth will happen. It's a good exercise because you can figure the type of unexpected player will be leftover after that run is complete. You can also project who may attempt to trade up to get ahead of the run to avoid being left without. For example.. I assess that the run on defensive tackles begins at about 18 and ends around 28. I expect three to four to go in that range. The team on the back end of that who really needs at DT but will be possibly left out? The Bills. I would place them as highly likely to trade into the teens to get the exact DT they want (I would guess Walter Nolen) Pragidealist, and DCTitan
titansfan
I think the RB run begins early 2nd round with 3-4 going by pick 50 Pragidealist
titansfan
I think Luther Burden is a big possibility here in the 2nd round. He's not a rookie starter, but he's a future starting slot for sure and he had the ability to dictate some designed plays for him during his rookie season. We've interviewed him and he's a playmaker that this team admits to needing more of. Pragidealist

But I also think there's a scenario where we trade down to the mid 40s and still pick up a player like Luther Burden or Isaiah Bond and an additional 3rd or 4th round pick. The tradeoff is we'd take ourselves out of range out of all 1st round grade edges and most of the 2nd round graded ones. Would you all be okay punting on getting the young edge prospect in 2026. I think that's a legitimate question and scenario Tennessee is having. 35 is such a great spot for BPA— seems likely some player graded mid first pick or higher slips GLinks, and chef

I think the conversation of what we may do at 35 is more interesting. If an OT, Edge or WR who the Titans gave a 1st round grade slips; if not they should try to trade down in my opinion. In order of chance in slipping: WR if one of top 4 WR slips (Egbuka or Golden if they slipped, Tres Harris as a reach or if graded better by the team) Edge if one of the top 5 slips (Mykel Williams or Mike Green possible if they slipped, Jack Sawyer as a reach or better grade by team) OT if one of the top five slips ( Kelvin Banks Jr or Josh Simmons if they slipped, Cameron Williams, Aireontae Ersery, Josh Conerly Jr as reaches) Edited March 9 by 9 Nines Dangermode

Josh Simmons is the only true left tackle that I'd consider in the 1st round. Outside of Membou, him, and maybe Conerly i don't really see any that'd get a 1st round grade. Ersery maybe, but he's not what we're looking for

Another team might pay a 2026 1st for it if player they ranked 1st round slipped to it. If Shedeur Sanders slipped, a team might give a 1st.

9 Nines
I think trading the 35 for multiple picks in the 60-70 range could be good value. Could come away with a WR like Bond, Higgins or Restrepo and a high upside Edge with weaknesses the team thinks it can fix.

His twitch, bend, ability to flatten and his speed to close are a joke. I’ve watched this clip about 20 times. How do you change direction like this? To me this is comfortably the best player in the draft. https://x.com/SiClancy/status/1893478384853819533 This dude might deadass be the fastest pass rusher I’ve seen icl Mfer breaks off blocks like he’s a DT and and has the instincts and speed of a safety lmao You know where I stand with Cam Ward and not taking a QB at 1, but as I said months ago Carter is a 15 sack a year type guy. I have no doubt he'll at worst be in the All-Pro conversation for a stretch as long as he stays healthy. OILERMAN, and Dangermode

Downtown
Abdul is an injury risk just waiting to happen. With only one full season of play, he's already got a chronic related issue looming. He's a Tennessee Titan no doubt about it. DCTitan, Callidus, Supernope, and 2 others 1 1 1 1
