I think it's obvious at this point the Titans are taking Ward. I'm on board and think his ceiling is pretty high. Callahan gave an interview to A to Z after the season that was super revealing about t

I'm totally fine with the Titans drafting Ward. Enough people think he can be good and he's shown enough NFL traits. It would not be like the Titans overdrafting Anthony Richardson or Trey Lance.

I was all in on Stroud during his final season, you could see the talent and the offense he played within gave him a high probability to, at the very least, be a good NFL player. His pro day was also probably the best I've ever seen. He just looked so fluid and accurate.

I get a lot of the same vibes from watching Ward but his arm talent is greater, to me. Not as accurate but that can be improved which he has a clear track record of being able to to do. Just gotta hope he can get it between the ears cause that's where it's going to matter most in the end.

The game was different when McNair played.  They used to let LBs tee off on Steve.  None of today's top QBs could survive some of the hits he took.  Steve wound up in the hospital and they still let teams blast him.  Cam would still be laying on Adelphia Field if Goose belly flopped him.

It's hard to pigeonhole these young boys because they all play different.  They create.  Cam's not Mahomes.  He's not Lamar.  He's not Josh.  These guys are elite athletes who bring their own style to the game.

It's like break dancing vs the waltz.  The NFL finally figured out you can win with both.

The players started refusing to take it after the Stroud leak.  And speaking of Stroud, I think he's good but he did come back to earth some last year and the pre-draft concerns with his game did pop up some.

It will be interesting to see what year 2 for Daniels is and for the others as well (Williams with an offensive coach and the spent a ton on the OL) and of course Maye....

Refusing to take it.. that's an interesting concept.  Who has the highest leverage there?  If a player wants to go #1 overall and believe that would set them apart.. they'd take it.   I can see teams not valuing it as much.. but hard to see agents/players not taking it unless they all agreed not to take it..   and those who would do well on it- would want to take it.

The players and agents have the leverage here.  Same deal as working out at the Combine.  A team isn't going to take you off their board because you don't think some test from a group that can't keep info confidential and where the worst performance outperformed the best ones......which contradicts their whole sales pitch that it's a proven barometer.

They don't take you off the board but its competitive. Its just like a job-  Others are willing.  They could also try to say no to pro days, private workouts, etc.   Whatever they say no to- like in hiring brings up questions on what you're hiding IF others all all willing.

If you're competing- you give no one any reason to doubt

Not taking a questionable test from a company who both oversells it's value and leaks confidential information is hardly a knock on being competitive.  Same for guys skipping the Combine workout if you are already an early pick.

It's clearly coming more from the agents advising players than the players themselves IMO but teams are not going to hold it against them.  That's very clear.
