What did change was the assassination attempt becoming divine providence creating even a more mangled mythos inside of his own demented mind, which is extremely dangerous. What Trump's team is great at is pre-emptively blaming the other side for anything they could say against Trump. Biden had his issues and he was obviously slowing down but no where near what Trump is showing. imo the Trump team knew it and they pre-emptively attacked Biden for it so any attacks on Trump for it would be weakened. And it worked. And you can just go down the list of things Trump has done this w/. Then if they actually caught him on something he'd aggressively accuse the other side of doing it to the point where his accusations overwhelmed theirs. It's actually a little impressive tbh. It's extremely impressive even if banal at this point as the shock value wears off so it just keeps escalating the rhetoric. It isn't that Trump is impressive, though he is uncanny in some ways. He's a failure of a human in every regard. What's impressive is the stack leading up to this and the complete capture of conservatives over 40 years to the point they would support such filth. But yeah, we agree. I've maintained for a long time now that what is most impressive about Trump is his ability to get people he has purposefully made as enemies through attacks bend the knee. We are seeing that play out on the global stage with the same ego and it isn't working. The admittance "no one knew they would do this" in regards to Hormuz is a staggering admittance even if a lie. Even if we do elect an adult , there is always another chance of a total idiot like Trump getting into office and doing stuff like this in the future. The lie about equality has been exposed. When I say that I’m talking about we are seen as a place where anyone of all races can seek better things. While this part is true, the part about Racists, misogynists, and conspiracy crackheads that reside in this country are far more than anyone could have imagined and aren’t a fringe element.
