He has to. I'm not sure if Shedeur will be a franchise guy. I do know he had a much much better college career than Will Levis had. I know he has had the best QB trainers. I'm pretty sure he has worked with Tom Brady alot. That doesn't mean he is a lock to be a franchise QB, but it counts for something. Edit: He's also shown all of the traits that say he could be a franchise guy with the proper development. You just have to watch the way Sanders holds onto the ball far too long looking for the perfect play to open up to know he is going to have issues in the NFL against better quality EDGE rushers. He has lots elite traits to offset if a team thinks they can curtail the bad shit. That's very different than drafting a guy like Richardson or Levis. You think AAS is going to be patient in the event the team has a 4th consecutive losing season in 2025, especially when she has just watched a team in the Commanders turn the second worst record in the league last year into potentially 12 wins (already have 11) and a playoff spot this year.
