1. I like AAS, but she may have to do some real self evaluation. Did she make hires strictly to be involved in football decisions or with the best football people in mind?   2. Levis is not

Vrabel absolutely should have been fired and they should have let Henry walk, regardless of what he's doing with the Ravens.   The majority of the team's problems are on the QB

do you ever dream of how good we used to have it ?

Levis needs a year like Manning got.  Just go out and throw it all over the yard and throw 30 picks.  Figure it out.  TB did it with Jameis.

Manning made it, Jamieis did not.

TN gonna lose no matter what so find out can Levis be salvaged.  If he cannot you got a high pick next draft.

rudolph won a game thorwing 3 passes in the second half.  That was identical to Vrabel plan with Willis as a rookie in KC.  Rudolph is a vet.   Callahan is atrocious.  Malik Willis also beat Callahan.  Also atrocious.   Wake up.

ASS fucked this franchise up huge.

Spot on Bongo. People act like Rudolph did better he didn’t. He handed it off 20 times. Cally played like a chicken shit vs Miami too. Zero creativity. Cally just got lucky Miami sucked worse than the Titans and that the defense handed the field position to the offense all game. His offense was literally no different with Rudolph. It was like watching paint dry

I’m far from a Cally guy but it’s ridiculous to pin this offense on him while Levis is the QB. Mason played, what, 3 quarters and the O put up 30?  Bear in mind, Rudolph will spend the rest of his career as a backup on any other team in the NFL….not like we subbed in some stud QB.

Bitch about his timeouts, challenges, clock management, staff, etc., but on O he’s having to gameplan with one of the most incompetent starting QBs in NFL history.

The offense is worse than last year with the same QB and improved talent around him. The receivers are more talented. The offensive line is more talented.

I’m willing to say it’s not all on Callahan because Levis has been bad, but Callahan was brought in to develop him, so it’s not like he has clean hands there either.

People need to remember that Callahan is a first time head coach and he inherited a shit roster. Just because AAS was aggressive in free agency doesn't automatically translate into an immediate turnaround in success on the field.

People need to acknowledge the fact that success in the NFL is 99% dependent on effective quarterback play which we are NOT getting from Will Levis and may not EVER get, but it's too early to cut bait and that would be considered a knee jerk reaction. Levis is being given enough rope to be properly evaluated. The firing of Saleh shows how knee jerk reactionary the NFL can be.

People need to remember that Levis fell to the second round for a reason and the hiring of Callahan was not a guarantee that Levis could or would pan out and be transformed into a competent starting QB no matter what kind of coaching he gets. We're all guilty of high expectations to a degree. I absolutely expected more from this team based on our offseason moves which was stupid.

Now the question becomes, just how long does the Levis experiment last before the locker room goes sour?

Ridley, DHop and Boyd are previous 1000+ yard receivers.  We had 83 yards yesterday.

I didn’t understand either why Boyd hasn’t been more involved. The calls kept going Ridley’s way he dropped everything. Boyd is sure handed, and got I think two targets both of which he caught. Boyd can get us easy completions via WR screens, little digs/out routes. He is a safety blanket that Cally refuses to utilize. Even though the Bengals did just that for 5+ years with him. Boyd is the one I cannot understand, just don’t get it

Neither does Levis. Nor BC. We lost a lot of yards on screens yesterday.  I guess he thought those were safe. They know Levis is on a short leash.

Yeah maybe so, but Boyd wasn’t the one getting those passes. I loved the Boyd signing and those screens you mentioned minus the one on the last drive where Boyd got one for positive yards were not to Boyd. Boyds game is screens, short routes and middle of the field plays. We have acted like we have don’t have Boyd whatsoever, and instead kept throwing to Ridley yesterday especially who was absolute dogshit.

I know QBR is problematic, but just for comparison Levis's QBR is 28.3 which is really awful. Only Deshaun Watson's is worse this year.

Here are our other draftees and their first qualifying seasons. Levis is by far the worst, and even bad compared to some other notable bad QB seasons.

2024

Will Levis - 28.3

Deshaun Watson - 21.5

2023

Mac Jones - 37.5

Bryce Young 34.1

Zach Wilson - 31.3

2018

Josh Rosen - 24.1

2017

DeShone Kizer - 32.4 (Might be the best Levis comp tbh)

2015

Marcus Mariota - 48.4

2012

Jake Locker - 40.0

2011

Christian Ponder - 32.4

Blaine Gabbert - 22.2

2006

Vince Young - 56.1

Cally punted it on 4th and 7 yesterday with 2:15 left in the game. He is the biggest pussy to ever wear the headset.

Vrabel once punted on 4th and 2 at the Ravens 40 down 4 points in the 4th quarter.....in a playoff game.

Levis' QBR by game (this year and last year).  The massive outliers were the ATL game.

Approaching a low point? This is lowest point. Spent tons of money with a forced to play QB for a new coaching staff. If they make a move to Rudolph, they'll win a few games just enough to be outside the QB pick range in the draft. They really should signed Darnold and made Levis earn it.

Cmon.  They have more talent now than they did in 2011-2015.

its just that the qb is so bad it’s dragging everything down

He's drafting well and bringing in good players. Not gonna hit on everyone. Webster literally found only bad players. Actually uncanny how shitty he was. Random picks and FA would've been more successful
