Space X kicks Boeing's ass, though that's a low bar. Boeing kicks Boeing's ass even more than Space X does.

How so? Boeing does shady shit but how does SpaceX kick its ass? By what metric?

It's impossible not to question the morality of people who choose to support politicians who spread vile and dangerous rhetoric like that.   If you're willing do that, what else are you will

I really wonder what sort of lessons the parties will take from this election. I can't imagine either one does away with primaries but I do think there's an incredible advantage to Harris in that she wasn't dragged to the left in order to win the nomination and now she can pivot far more to the center or to the right than she otherwise might have in order to pick up independents.

There's fewer negatives / ability to paint her as an extremist because she didn't make promises and she's not on video trying to appeal to the left and there are many more positive things she can do to attract people in the center with her policy reveals And not having to go back on promises previously made.

On the flip side, primaries on the republican side allowed 10% of the base to seize control. Trump never would have been a nominee if the party had full control of the process. Its definitely an interesting thought which I'm sure lots of smart people are considering - both good and bad actors.

So the tongue in cheek metric

I'd say your rocket failing and stranding astronauts in space is a pretty significant metric when comparing two competitors / options for transporting astronauts to space.

Sure but without even getting into details of what happened, it's an $800B company vs maybe an $8B company. Hard to say SpaceX is kicking their ass when that's not all they do
