What the hell are you talking about? He’s been dogshit all year and this victim angle Freeze is playing up for him is ridiculous

You must not be aware of the things people were saying about him that Easton was pushing against.

The left side of the OL could be dominant

You guys remember when we took the most pro-ready offensive lineman from Alabama with a HOF o-line coach on the staff in 2013?   That was fun.

That is a horrible message to send to the fan base that your top 10 pick may fail at the position you hope he plays.

No one defended the penalties

They absolutely did. Lyons hand ringing them away while saying he didnt give up any presure. The music city audible guys did something similar.

No they didn’t. They all said the penalties were unacceptable.

Poor first round pick and millionaire JC Latham. I feel so bad for him that his shitty performance is being called out. He’s the true victim. Right guys?

When you play for this team, yes.  Coaching and FO instability has ruined many players.

As frustrating as he’s been, I think he deserves a lot more time, given the shitshow he’s had to deal with

He was tying himself into a pretzel to try and downplay their significance. Lyons is an Alabama fan and has backed himself into a corner regarding Latham where he just can't be completely objective on the subject.

We all have biases on certain players or topics but Lyons needs to remember he has traversed the line between being a fan and being part of the media and when he is hosting the postgame show on the Titans flagship radio station he needs to maintain a level of objectiveness.

Unlike the fans which was the actual conversation who base an entire performance on two clips on twitter to the point they’re literally saying they hate Latham more than Isaiah Wilson lol those are the people Easton and James Foster are pushing back against

It doesn't matter. Unless something changes with the draft (unlikely), he's our starting RT for next year as well. I just hope we can find a starting LT worth a damn. OLs take time to gel, and they tend to be better the more time they play together. SOME of our OL problem is communication, and some is people getting beat. The former is fixable. The latter...let's hope they develop, I guess.

PK was strong again this week on his view both Latham and Sweat simply don't care enough and the veterans on this team are sick of pressing them to give a shit.

Sweat of course had the tonsillectomy and needs to lose 40 lb's, and Latham may still be sore in his hip..but either way, it would be nice to see both of them working hard to improve their craft, rather than riding out the end of the season to start the rebuilding process..

Latham completely transformed his body this offseason before the injury - the idea he doesn’t care seems far fetched. Maybe he’s in some kind of malaise or something though and needs to continue to mature.

I think he doesn’t play with the nastiness that many want to see out of that position.

Dude looks like he has body builder strength not weight lifter strength and didnt get much if any quicker.

If you choices are relatively weak and slow but looking good.

Or strong and slow but looking fat you go with the 2nd option in the nfl.
