Russini mentioned the Dolphins as having serious interest too

Any other player-team nuggets from Russini in that Athletic Football Show podcast only listened to the Titans being the most aggressive team with money to spend in FA segment.

The Ravens or Cowboys seem to be the most likely destinations for Henry.

why do people continues to say the Ravens are a fit for Henry? They haven't had success taking other team's vet RBs and they have a full blown RBBC approach.

They were the team that got very close to agreeing a deal with the Titans to trade for Henry at the trade deadline.

Dallas would seem the most likely to me.. he lives there, Pollard is a free agent , and Jerry is loaded for a Super Bowl run, and maybe the king could help their culture problem..

The Dolphins were top 5 in rushing, #1 in yards per carry, #1 in rushing TDs and had the most explosive runs in the league.

Why on Earth would they want Derrick Henry

Because they're extremely soft as a team.

Henry was one of the easiest RBs to take down last season.

And yet in a worse situation by down and distance from every logical measure only averaged .2 less than Spears. Hmm.

Anyways, he'll be on a roster next year. The Dolphins make sense because their team is soft as fuck.

Henry to the Dolphins actually does make sense. That team is lacking in toughness, and for whatever Henry's lost in speed he definitely still has that in spades. He'd be a really good leader for a young team like that.

These two comments are why it half makes sense. In theory he adds something they lack, in reality they didn't need that "missing" piece.

Adding Henry isn't going to make that team of glass canons durable.

No, but he adds a presence of toughness to a team with SB aspirations that sorely lacks it. Put him in a Leggarette Blount role and let him be a leader. The guy commands respect from not only his stature, but his work ethic and training room regiment, to his pedigree at every level.

The joke Oman wants to run with is fine and well, but that guy as just a player is one of the most highly regarded in the NFL.
