I'd take shot on him, though I'm obviously ignorant. But that level of talent and at his age is pretty tantalizing.

What does that have to do with anything I said. Its clear Henry was in the 2nd tier of RBs to sign league wide. There is no shame in that, he is 30 years old and has a ton of wear and tear.

Henry did better contract wise than I figured he would but I also think the Ravens were largely bidding against themselves.  He simply doesn't fit in many offenses.

 

Now good luck come playoff time if they happen to make it.  You can't run your way to a SB.

Yeah, if I'm a Ravens fan, I no longer have hope that Lamar's passing will develop enough to overcome Mt. Mahomes. He's improved as a passer but not enough.

It's a big risk for sure. However, I think now is a good time to take a risk like that. we have the cap, Landry was really coming on after that injury, and Key is a solid player. Even if Young bombs, unless we give him a stupid contract we'll be ok in the short term and he'll be off the books in a couple of years.

Yeah it's wild. 8-10 mil would have been a top 10 cash/cap hit for a starter last year... possibly this year. 
 

We've seen this story before. They played so hard on the other side that they can't even enjoy the player, see production, or understand his value. He's 30, has 2200 touches and getting highly paid... again. 
 

It's just a doubling down until they are finally right and can emotionally claim victory.
