In his era, sure but that's the nature of today's game more so than a diss on Henry. I do, however, think he'll be more associated with the Ravens than the Titans nationally just because of the exposure/team success. That depends on how long he can keep up this type of production and if he can win a SB. After the season he'll likely be around 3500 behind AP. If he comes within 1k yards of Peterson he should be in the All-time great conversation. XAEA12, and Number9
XAEA12
Who needs to hurdle when you can do this? Seriously what a performance, and when Lamar was struggling. Knifing through defenses, shedding and stiff arming defenders like they’re children Supernope

He's a RB in an era that has gone away from RBs who if you placed in another era would still be great. People acknowledge that. Most figure he's going to be the last pure RB to go to the HOF for some time Number9, Mythos27, CreepingDeath, and 3 others 4

Most figure he's going to be the last pure RB to go to the HOF for some time Many will disagree but I think he would've been even greater in the golden era of RBs. Yes, defenders were bigger but they were much, much slower. Henry would get the edge and house it pretty much any time he wanted, erasing pursuit angles easily. Also, any time he got to the second level his odds of being run down would be even smaller. Of course he would need a good OL in front of him still but his blend of size, speed, strength, and vision is rare for any era. Also, with a decreased focus on the passing game, he wouldn't be coming off the field on 3rd downs in 1995. His one pit-fall however would be how much more prevalent gap scheme runs were compared to zone scheme runs. He's doing better with gap runs than I expected in BAL but he's a zone runner through and through. Not quite as elusive and sudden. I think the injuries have taken their toll and he hasn't had the opportunities to establish a rhythm. I'm sure he'll bounce back next year but I was hoping he'd force a near 50/50 split with Pollard. Pollard has been too good though. All in all it's a really good run game.
