Anyone thinking otherwise is a clueless buffoon Seriously, the only thing they could have done differently after not trading him at the deadline would have been to tag and trade him, but what would his value of been then? And when you got back, that save some face 5th or 6th which would be tied up in a big contract that you couldnt spend in fa, you would have looked like even bigger assholes. They did the right thing after doing the wrong thing. He wanted to go and taging him to force keeping him would have been dumb compared to pollard who fits the offense better even if the king still has juice. First of all he would have signed it right away and been guaranteed 12 mill. 12 mill is pretty awesome for a 30+ yr old RB. No one is trading for Henry at a 12 mill cap hit. Consider he counts just over 5 mill against the Ravens cap this season. The truth is Amy is an absolute incompetent moron for most likely letting Vrabel persuade her into keeping Henry last year when they could have traded him for a 4th rounder. They went 3-7 after not trading Henry and he had two more 100 yard games. They basically kept him last year for absolutely no reason whatsoever Callidus, rns90, and Mythos27 2

Supercollider
Really Happy to see Derrick Excell in a Offensive scheme that works for him. Sadly running off tackle 30 times a game doesn't work in the NFL. Run run pass may have worked 20 years ago, but in the current NFL it takes a coach like Jim Harbaugh to realize Henry's true potential. At least Vrabel has a coaching analyst job for the Browns

Henry knew it too so some fan revolt (of a shitty local fan base mind you) hardly is a thing. They already had worn the throwbacks and sold plenty of them already. Stadium already approved and funded. Team gets revenue even if it's packed with rival fans The far more likely scenario is that Vrabel didn't want to white flag the season and wanted Henry to stay. He also didn't want to continue playing Levis when Tannehill was healthy. The "GM" and certainly Brinker wanted to make the trade. AAS sided with Vrabel. What is the timeline of the stadium stuff?

Only one team ultimately "wins" each year. The NFL is an entertainment product. The NFL has become a year-round product with discussion and events sprinkled throughout. A team without any "star power" is not nearly as entertaining. Nashville is a city of transplants. A 4th round pick hardly makes an impact (especially with the track-record of the Titans). You aren't looking at it from a business perspective that includes all of the off-the-field elements. Number9
