Derrick Henry is still an elite back.

It’s also worth noting that Henry led the NFL in rushing attempts and had zero fumbles….something hasn’t happened in almost 40 years.   The last guy to do this was Gerald Riggs way back in 1985.

Look at all those defenders chasing down a rolling tomato can!

Derrick Henry sure seems to get a lot of those "anybody could do it, perfectly blocked plays" ever since he was declared a bum by message board illuminati.    Luckiest back in history, I gue

Justice Hill sucks.  Darrynton Evans was just cut and would be an immediate upgrade.

Hill is their 3rd down RB.....He's doing OK in that role. He's averaging over 10 yds per reception.

The way that the Ravens use Henry, is the way that ALL dynamic backs should be used. The idea that you have to force-feed a guy 30 carries is stupid and it's partly why Henry wasn't as productive here outside of the 2019-2020 golden age. That said, I still think the Ravens shouldn't be as rigid as they have been with when they take him off the field. Hard to criticize too much because they've certainly been good but I think they could have used him a bit more today.

The Ravens don't have to rely on this, that's the reason. Henry is not the best player on the Ravens offense, the QB is. That's the way it should be.

I don't believe in being overly-reliant on RB in any case. It doesn't work long-term.

100%. But if Henry was still on this team right now that's the way it would have to be.

I prefer a more balanced run pass ratio regardless of the RB or QB., like 60/40 pass to run. I think if you pass it 40 times and run it 20 you’re making it easier on the defense to not account for the run. Especially so when you have a player who can take it to the house if you catch them slipping.

I prefer a run one time from the 2 yard line on first and goal. Just me.

We get the same bullshit misleading stat equivalency here.  "Numbers don't lie!"  ...as if all teams, players, and coaches are equal.

As a side note, I hate the auto-editing to remove quiet moments between sentences.  Noticed a goddamn cartoon (Boss Baby, I think) doing this shit.  Just lightning fast quips back and forth.  Fucking let that shit breath.  Too many shows/movies (American, at least) are non-stop talking, singing, action.  Training a bunch of ADD idiots that can't focus their attention beyond 15 seconds.
