My gut feeling though is that Levis simply took advantage on plays Tannehill was leaving on the table. Dating back to last year, I noted that Tannehill was missing way more deep throws than I remembered. Levis hit those today and doing so early made the Atlanta secondary loosen up, which opened up the rest of the field. I'm just guessing here but it seems reasonable enough. 41% PA will give you deep shot opportunities and Levis took advantage of them. based on what I saw yesterday he clearly goes through progressions quicker. The drop back passing game is still an issue though but thats on the OL. In those situations the Titans OL didn't hold up except on Hopkins 3rd TD. I’m sure we will see some stuff posted today by people like James foster and get a better picture of his performance. It did look like he was going through his progressions very quickly from watching the broadcast. I'm praying that we get a nice breakdown from JT O'Sullivan. He's done an awesome job chronicling Stroud's season and I think Levis was better yesterday than most of Stroud's games. heyitsmeallen

A QB school video on Levis and a Brett Kollman video on either Levis or the 3 AFCS rookie QBs together. Mythos27

As I said in the game thread yesterday, They ran a ton more PA yesterday and went to the quick passing game to mitigate Tackle play. Out of 29 pass attempts, I counted a total of 17 plays that were PA, RPO, or screens/quick hitters. This should be the offense going forward no matter who plays QB hint: I see no reason to go back to Tannehill 41% PA (vs 25% for Tannehill through 6 games) one RPO 4 screens or quick hitters outside Now onto Levis. I'll just say it was more impressive the 2nd go around - command of the huddle - movement within the pocket - audilbles/hard counts - pump fake magic - Insane throw to win the game to NWI off his back foot It also seemed as if Will Levis scanning the field at a high level. I seem to recall a few passes where he got through multiple reads rather quickly before hitting the open guy. titanruss, and heyitsmeallen

Popular Post nine
I’m a bit surprised to see people down on Henry’s performance. Sure, there were plays here and there where he could have gotten more….but there were also plays where he powered through and pushed the pile for an extra 3-4 yards that most guys don’t get. He averaged 4.6 yards a carry and his longest run was 14 yards….so it’s not like he had one big chunk play as an outlier; he legitimately gained 4-6 yards with virtually every touch. I absolutely agree Spears needs more carries and a bigger role in the offense….no question about that. But in no way does this diminish Henry’s role or performance. He may not be the same dominant gamebreaking presence of 3-4 years ago...but he’s still playing and producing at a pretty darned high level . croatian22, begooode, BTiger3733, and 8 others

Jamalisms
"Sure, he gets big runs but down to down is what drives an offense and the run game is making it harder to pass." He didn't have a good game, and this is 2 out of the last 3. People tried to argue with me about that. It isn't my fault people don't understand football, but yes if they want to argue then I'm game. I'm not throwing a bone to the people who were obviously wrong about Tannehill. I did plenty of shit talking about that earlier. It's more just the forcing of the issue when there's 20 other bigger things to talk about. The way your posts read sometimes is attempting to play both sides of an issue depending on the week to remain neutral. It may not be the case, but this week in particular it feels a weird hill to die on or fight for. As for Henry, no, it wasn't his best game. It was still a good and productive game against the 3rd ranked run defense - which y'all seem to be forgetting. He left yards on the field. He got some yards on plays other backs don't. But sure, you could say it wasn't his best. It was consistent though. The play you are upset about - he didn't trip over his feet. The DB had his back foot and he's making a cut and can't get that foot to catch himself. We are going to keep Henry this year and give Levis the best chance to succeed. Levis should hopefully give Henry his best chance to succeed too by backing the D up. I'm sure the Steelers will figure out some wrinkles this week... big2033
The best part of Levis performance is it seemed he got pressured quite a bit and was still making plays. That's what you hope for moving forward.
