Jamalisms
I've said it before but, for me, any self-recorded, low-effort random talking about an issue in a social media post is an instant scroll past. That's an echo chamber trap and legitimately risks the blind preacher leading the blind choir. I couldn't be less interested. Especially many of them spammed in sequence. If there's something more meaningful, if there's reason to believe that person has insight or authority on the topic, if there's a good point made ... anything to indicate it rises above some dude standing in the middle of traffic with a bullhorn ... it's a shame they're posted with no context. Number9
Do you want to fight them over there or over here? That's an old question used by some. The world isn't fair-damn right it oughta be. We live in homes, cities and states where we don't face any aggression against us like in Iran and Palestine. The news shows them-men, women and children getting bombed by US. Some parts of the world, the people have substandard housing, education and healthcare. Unfortunately for them, they live on top of resources we use and need. If we need what they have, we buy it for pennies or dish out ass whippings until they give it up. We need oil and have need of serious increases in our electrical power needs. That's why we invaded Venezuela. The resources must flow adequately for our needs. Your home, my home uses much more of the world's resources than we have here in America. No way you can have crowds of 100,000 on weekends for our sports activities. There are no lines of beggars or homeless living in our way of enjoyment. If you watch the bombing in other countries poorer than us, you see their infrastructures pale in comparison to ours. I'm sickened by the sight of starving people, but I want my Big Mac. I don't want them over here. They don't have any money to live here and they drive our wages down. The best advice for them is when we want something they have is give it up and STFU. We must maintain and improve our standard of living. Edited March 11 by Number9

I can't go into more detail about how Iran gums up the Strait, but suffice it say, right now, they don't know how to get it safely back open. Which is unforgiveable, because this part of the disaster was 100% foreseeable. tgo, rns90, reo, and 5 others

It's so beyond clear that America is no longer a reliable steward of global power and our global military presence needs to be reduced. Also a financial necessity just for future self preservation. (Big win for Putin getting Trump in the WH). We have a generation's worth of work to do now to get our own house back in order and repair the damage that Trump (and really, his supporters) have done. It will not and cannot be repaired in full. We are irreparably damaged and diminished on the world stage. And it is so beyond earned. The hubris of the voting public in the United States is historic and we deserve everything that's coming. Which sucks because I don't. But we collectively do. And the I that doesn't deserve it is part of the we that does. Which, again, sucks so fucking hard. Eternal sarcastic thanks to the dumbest motherfuckers to ever live. Israel got us into this mess, our country is infested our government is compromised. America is pretty much doomed.
