Biden was great as the anti-Trump candidate, but was rather uninspiring as a candidate overall. I don’t dislike him, but I’m tired of old people and retreads from the Obama era. Also, Sanders running for the 3rd straight time would be some William Jennings Bryan shit. Harris is a pretty uninspired choice to run if she does get the chance in 2024. I can’t see her driving turnout at all. Barring something awful or a downright terrible performance in the primary debates, AOC would get my vote in the primary if she decided to run of the candidates in the chart above. I think she energizes the young voters, a lot of women and minorities (though not as a monolithic bloc of voters like some think). Pair her with a straight white man from middle America (or someone like Roy Cooper of NC) and combined, you may have a chance to defeat the Trump/DeSantis/Hot Wheels candidate of the GQP. In addition, if she wins, she’s vacating a house seat that’s would likely stay blue. While I like Pete, I don’t think this country is ready for a gay president yet unfortunately. His ties to the current administration would also hurt him probably. However, I fully expect to see Biden again in 2024. And if it’s him vs one of the shitheads from the GQP, I’m voting for him without hesitation.
