No1TitansFan
3 of the Browns losses have been close, one on the road to a pretty good Steelers team; this will be a tougher game than some of you are thinking. BTW, the closest I came to getting into an altercation at a game was the home loss to Manziel 3 years back; Cleveland fan insisted in getting in my face after the game in our stadium and that was about the straw that broke the camel's back. Fortunately, we were both restrained by cooler heads and the nearby Metro officer assured us that we would both end up going to jail at least temporarily. I can handle a lot but taking shit from a Browns fan in our place just crossed the line. They really are looking at a potential 1 or 2 win season and winless isn't out of the question. True, but there is enough talent on the DL with Gregg calling the plays for then to get some hits on Mariota.

The Titans should have lost to the Browns in 2015. Browns were far more talented than the Titans in 2015 and better coached. Titans were last in the league and justifiably earned the first pick in the draft. Mariota was hit so many times that game that it was almost criminal, especially after he was hurt and knowing that, the team sent him back onto the field. Believe that game cost Whisenhunt his job. World of difference between 2015 and 2017. Frankly, anyone, including Johnny Football, could have beaten that team. Had not been following the Titans prior to Mariota but that game really emphasized just how low the team had sunk. nine
In the past year, the Titans have shown that they can beat playoff-caliber teams, and they've shown that they can crap the bed against the bottom-feeders of the league. i have no idea which team will show up this week. I think that will depend on which one of the Jekyll and Hyde defenses show up.

hotstepper
If you discount Trubisky and Bradford who have barely played this season, Marcus then leads the NFL in completion % for throws that are 15 yards or longer. Also, if you take Hogan and Bradford out, Marcus is 4th in the league for deep ball rate. Although 15 yards is a bit short to be regarded as a deep ball IMO. titansfb
A lot of people on here weirdly obsessed with proving everyone wrong that Mariota can make a deep throw. Mythos27

AussieTitanFan08
its hard to fathom with how inconsistent we have been playing over the first 6 weeks, but with a win against the Browns we would only be 1 win from being tied for the best record in the AFC through 7 weeks. Beacause he didn't complete a single throw (past 25 yards ?)in the air as a rookie. There was like 10 drops or something. Maybe he had one where the defender tipped it to delanie. He wasnt throwing great deep deep balls as a rookie but he did have plenty that were just flat dropped. And a couple where the receiver didn't even go for it and it led to like 3 interceptions. Stat-wise it looked bad. But if the wide open drops are not drops, he breaks the rookie td record.

Yep. The Dolphins loss really distorts the outlook. Had we had Mariota and won that game, we'd be sitting at 4-2 and pretty much right in line with the optimistic preseason expectations. Had them beat with a horrible Cassel and no Lewan, this team is still in line for the playoffs.
