I was about to post this. A knife in the hands of someone who knows how to use it is more deadly than someone with a bat. The bat guy would've had to run for cover or risk getting stabbed when he went for his shot. If you get in close it takes away a lot of the bat's power too. pat Posted May 9, 2018 Report Share Posted May 9, 2018 It takes a certain type of person to press a life / death confrontation as is required for the knife to win. It's also hard to know if you actually are that type of person without training. If you know this for sure, the knife is a fair bet but if not you'll end up knocked out like all the other fools taking a knife to a bat fight.
