  1. I think if you're Borg, you'd have to put out some due diligence feelers, but he's not pulling that deal.
  2. Man, I had the best response to this that would've made George Carlin & Oman asking if I crossed the line while laughing. Then I remembered I still have fragments of humanity left after watching this shit franchise for 30+ years.
  3. I believe it was reported that VY dropped like $60k at the Cheesecake Factory in a single year - mind you this was around '06. Essentially $100k in today's terms. Young loved food and molly. Lendale loved tequila.
  4. New POD: Ramel Keyton........... Guy is going to be a stud. Have it from good sources he's already taking 1st team reps and showers with Ward.
  5. Is it in writing and approved by EU vote, though? Also, why the fuck are taxing U.S citizens for European goods at 15%? Americans want quality goods! The Guinness here is already shit as it is!
  6. This is where I think it'll be interesting when judging Borgonzi in 2-3 years. Sure, he was given the #1 pick and a top 2nd round pick. Previous GM didn't leave much draft capital, and the cap space, while not an issue, was depleted by a spending spree last offseason that didn't pan out. I think Cam will at least be a solid starter, but if he doesn't hit will be interesting if there's much grace and if Borgonzi/Brinker get much breathing room while trying to right the ship. Even if he does hit, that also becomes a good-to-have challenge in a couple of years. I don't envy what Borgonzi inherited as a new GM.
  7. Poor man's Dont'e Thornton if you're looking for a direct comp. Was a decent deep threat later in college, good athlete, clutch yet inconsistent. If he's expanded his routes and can contribute as a gunner, he could possibly stick.
  8. Yeah, I'm not pegging him as the next Kearse, but he's the closest physically that I can remember in a bit - makes you go, "oh, shit", when you see him in pads. Seems like if he can manage 2 things this season - 1) Run towards the QB 2) Set an edge on occasion - he'll be productive while he still develops. Really, I'm excited for all of the first 3 draft picks.
  9. I'm just reposting what I said from Friday. I'll just add that the fluke injuries are seeming less fluky - he just seems like a dumbass with his own body. If he had stormed the beaches of Normandy, he would've died from a boat propeller.
  10. There weren't too many of those! All credit rescinded
  11. Yeah, narrative drove things for months with Ward. Whether he lives up to the hype or not, it became very clear watching his film back in January that he was a legitimate 1st round QB, which usually means top 10. I was pretty sold on that early on. I think when I was I trying to square narrative with actual data, film, interviews or made it clearer. I remember when I discussed it with @Callidus, and (who took the effort & has the football IQ) charted a lot of his bad throws at WSU and all of Miami, it became clear which were actually bad and which were learning moments. Plus, he cut both the total & percent down each year. Doesn't matter if he would've been the 3rd or 7th QB taken last year. Again, still to be determined - he could easily bust like other top QB's, but I think narrative is driving critiques still.
  12. He's locking up most of his base? Bold move, Cotton.
  13. AI is disruptive. We are in the midst of the next industrial revelation and have been for about 10-15 years. People and institutions need to be aware/prepared and are probably already 5 years behind. AI's aren't going to launch nukes in 5 years. People might, not code on machines. Fire didn't replace hunting. Bronze didn't replace wood. Steam engines didn't replace manpower. Conveyor belts didn't replace walking. Astronomy didn't create the universe.
  14. Sounds right on day 2 of TC. Obviously, it'd be great to see the young guys move up at some point, but it's too early. Also, can anyone remember a receiver like Burks? Going into his 4th year, former 1st rounder, well liked by different staffs and FO's, shown flashes, just nagged by seemingly fluke injuries. Most would be out of the league by now or somewhere new, but he's hanging around as 9th stringer for this shit WR Corp. Fascinating at this point.
  15. Smooth brain take. Must be part of a strong union - getting paid not to not work and all.
  16. Since retard has made a comeback can we finally call Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott the f word for gay dudes? Seems like they're actually deserving of that label. P.S. rode a tram with Scott in the Denver airport in '22. Some bearded biker redneck came up to him slobbering on his & Trump's knob for 5 minutes. When the guy left, Scott put his mask that "didn't work" back on and uttered something like "fucking weirdos" I muttered, "fucking coward", under my breath as I walked past him squeezing by him on the train. Yes, I was a little bitch not saying it loud, and he probably didn't hear me. Wasn't trying to land on a no-fly list that day, though. But maybe he did hear it and jerked Graham of to it in a sensual tone later that night.
  17. You knew my in-laws?! Great, now the family secret is out.
  18. The Sweaty Sims? The S.S. Misdemeanors? The Sweaty Sack Machine? The Meat Sweats?
  19. In all honesty, he's been a solid depth piece the past couple years while only looking at the numbers. Might be a mild upgrade to Carter if he's healthy.
