Titans Sign ILB Cody Barton - 3 years/21M
Strunk'sDessert replied to tgo's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
Whether you're the progeny of Bongo or not, it's still the same gene pool that was arrested from a Carnival cruise completely sober 15 years ago. Do you understand how fucking hard that is to do for even the most inebriated 20 year old Coastal Carolina student? Your molecules are diametrically opposed to anything uniform in the universe. This bloodline of yours might be the riddle to dark matter fucking up the universe. You do not get to collect the dime bag of whatever you've dropped in your soul. Do not contribute to society further and do not pass Go. Find a hilltop to die alone on. My god have a hapless rest filled with bugs, inconsistent temperatures, restless leg syndrome, night terrors, and the constant urge to pee that's just not enough to wake up for in your soul to infinity. You dumb fuck, not qualified enough to lead an ant army if you had a pure, constant sucrose fountain coming out your ass. -
We're so fucked.

Titans 2025 Training Camp Discussion

I mean, I get that, but that isn't Callahan's problem - it's a professionalism problem. They may have truly sucked at a couple of these practices. There's already been 2-3 media folks whining in the past week. -

Buck was just on the radio complaining about the 10 day road trip, not only for the team but all the other personnel. Essentially blaming/questioning Callahan. I got what he was saying for a bit, but then realized there's a couple of extended road trips this season. Better to work out the kinks now. Think he was just bitching to bitch because he's a little bitch. -
I could be wrong, but the entire defense looked slow, not that they have a ton of speed demons. I just wonder if field conditions + equipment + orders to not get hurt = slow performance. It didnt seem like the coaches were too pissed off.

I think it's because most normal people can't believe what's in front of their eyes. It's a "what is currently happening couldn't happen here" type of psychosis. -

As a masochist, I usually am watching old VHS previews so that I can look forward to something with jumper cables on my nips while the game is on another screen. Figured that was par for the course with other Titans fans, no? -

You signed it "pro", but I believe you meant "prophylaxis" for the idiot of topic. Getting bucked a notch by @prometheus or @Nash is akin to a juvenile court judge saying, "Young man, I implore you to shut your mouth and shut it immediately before I can't help you any longer." Pure castration of manhood and respect. -
Preseason Wk1: Titans @ Bucs Gameday Thread

There's some guys from round 3-5 that you just know will be a competent player at minimum. He seems like one of them. Over the last 10 years, there haven't been too many of those players chosen by the Titans, part of the myriad of reasons for being so shitty. -

In a normal draft, he'd be a late 2nd or early 3rd round pick. That's a flyer as a starter or good backup QB evaluation. Nothing to shake your head at - he's good. When he has time and a weapon or two that can separate, he's very good. That's not the majority of NFL snaps, though. And he sure doesn't seem like a film junkie that can mask physical defincies with advanced recognition. That's without getting into the everything else. He'll be in the NFL as long as he wants to be in the NFL. That's probably the best way to summarize him. -

Welp, I used to appreciate you as a poster. They were pretty good 25 year ago, though. Also, Taco Bell crunchwrap supreme, sub pico for tomatoes, with a Doritos Locos taco supreme. Not a burger, but the best fast food order. -

Maybe Ayomanor will be good enough to trade to the Jets for a top 2nd round pick in 3 years, only to draft a shitty DE. That way history could come full circle in 20 years time. -
Based on his 40 time, 25.1 yards. Simple math. C'mon folks.

I'm not sure what the answer is and I hate that it's come to this point, but is time for blue/purple states to get their head out of the sand. It's been 60 years of saying, "Surely, they wouldn't do that." Well, they have and will continue to to do so. Morally & ideologically, I don't like that that's the answer. At some point, you've got to play their game based on their standards.

Yeah, which is why I didn't breakdown the 9th string receiver or 8th string DT and only pointed out things that seemed mildly interesting and could play a role during the season. -

Probably my own fault for not paying attention, but I figured Duncan was the backup LT and Ojukwu was on the right side. Were they not switched last year or am I making things up? Otherwise, only surprise to me is that Gray is backing up Williams. Seems like Reese & Williams have similar makeups; likewise for Barton & Gray. Not sure it really matters, though. Also, the CB spot is brutal if Sneed doesn't snap out of it, which we already knew. Seeing it on the depth chart, though...damn -

This is true, but future context will be needed to determine if anything is unfair or not. Callahan had his rookie year, fair or not. Will he win 5 games while the roster looks improved and Cam takes his lumps while improving or stumble into 5 wins while the roster looks like shit? Amy might be impulsive, but if Callahan pulls Levis coaching wise, it'll be warranted. And to be honest, you can bitch about her hires, but her "impulsive" dismissals have been pretty spot on - unless Vrable becomes a HoF coach. And don't get me wrong, I like Callahan and am rooting for a fun, albeit probably tough, season. Only trying to add color to what you're saying. -

Yeah, seriously. However you want to spend your free time, go for it. But sack up and do your job, especially when your job calls you to do it and you call that job a blessing. Bitch to your wife, not your audience. And every game this year is at noon on a Sunday. It's not new. Spoiled little bitch crying to his Brentwood church crowd. -

I'm not saying I wouldn't like it as a fan if they can pull it off. I'm looking at it from Brinker/Borgonzi's point of view - it's a massive risk/reward for people in new positions of power. -

Read my post just prior to your post. He absolutely doesn't give you a top 5 front 7. It could be with him, but you, nor anyone "undoubtedly" knows that. On paper, sounds great. But you don't know if that shakes an ounce of shit from your ass while just hoping there's TP in the holder. This isn't Madden as much as you always would like it to be for the past 15 years. There's opportunity cost with these deals, and as already mentioned, Mack didn't move the needle at all for Chicago even though he was great. Chicago had even less questions when they did it at that point! I'm sure they'll call, but unless my lady says to do it without conditions, no 1st year GM would do a deal for what their asking price would be. -

Even if they have all the confidence in the world for Cam, there's no way they can touch next year's 1st unless it's coming from the top to make it happen. Would it make for an interesting and potentially very good defensive unit? No doubt. But is Sweat going to take a step? Will Sneed play well or at all - corners in general? Are the other edge pieces even serviceable? Can Simmons stay healthy? Can Hooker stay concussion free? Where is KWJ on his timeline for staying? If you knew 2-3 of those answers, it could be enticing. If you had enough evidence that Cam was a starting level QB. If you knew BC legitimate. If you knew any of the young skill guys would take a step. If you knew you had a solid o-line... If you could confidently answer even 5 of those 12 or so questions, maybe you roll the dice. Titans aren't in any shape to know those answers right now. Any trade for Parsons would take massive balls even if he plays to this level for 3-5 years. -
You vote, participate in the system - even by default - and spread bullshit on the internet. So all of that is false. The easiest thing for you would be to stop doing all of these things. You can be the change you want to see, Dan. I believe in you.
