  1. I feel like Blackman is being forgotten about. He was very good last year and can play either safety spot, which is great bc hooker is hurt a lot. I’m for sure signing him if possible.
  2. I think Fuaga is the best tackle in the class and I want him. He’s a RT but he’s just that good to me.
  3. I’m sure it’s like that everywhere. I work with several who think they’re experts but truly don’t know what they’re doing. Then if a business owner sees their work, that’s likely their only exposure to tableau and assume it’s no good. Plus a developer should work with the business to define requirements and understand the problem/ask so they can design it to their needs. Certainly make recommendations and suggestions based on knowledge of the tool, but ultimately solutions should be team/problem specific. if you get bored look at tableaus social media and/or YouTube. Some of the stuff people can do with it is absolutely insane. It also makes querying tables easier than just writing a SQL query since it does most of that work for you. Caveat being if the data/tables are good/clean. I went to the tableau conference in Vegas a few years back, it’s incredible what it can do for sure if it’s in the right hands. Hopefully the team gets a high end person that can really help them. I’d love to do it, to be able to literally help the team I love but I’m doubting the pay is where it needs to be and it’s probably not the most secure job for someone with a family, given a coaching change etc could mean the whole staff is gone. either way, encouraged they’re going this route. “Analytics” has become such a buzz word and now has a negative connotation when most don’t even know what it means or how it’s applied.
  4. Hate it as an end user or as a developer? I love it. It has quirks but they always are improving it and it’s infinitely better than excel. if you hate it as an end user it’s likely bc whoever is developing your dashboards doesn’t know what they’re doing lol I love putting a dashboard together than conveys what I want in just a minute or two, when senior leadership isn’t going to read a report, or have a ton of time etc. just quick and impactful. Then you can add filters, tool tips, etc for line level managers or other users who want to play with it and have it be interactive. I can very much see the use case of a football teams analytics staff having a board dashboard, filtering down by position group, looking at drop rates, fumble factors, release times, etc. Wild to me they took so long to get it but also could see Vrabel hating it.
  5. I don’t post a ton in general but I’ll certainly report back what I can. I think their requirements are a little more junior but I’m heavy into data visualization via tableau, which honestly is what they need. Thankfully it appears they recognize it!
  6. Ha I am a data analyst in Nashville, with a company also in metro center where their practice facility is. I am probably out of their pay range but I’m going to apply just to see what happens.
  7. Garror muffed it then made ZERO attempt to recover. Just piss poor effort.
  8. Please explain the 2nd and 10 Run that killed the drive ?
  9. So they make Phillips inactive bc of special teams, which gives up TWO blocked punts. And we have no receivers that can separate now. solid choice.
  10. First 3 and out of the day from the defense and they fumble the punt. Absolutely hilarious
  11. I’d go for it. Vrabel has zero sack. Losing 10-0. DONT get the ball after half. Defense tired. I love Vrabel but I’m about done with everyone.
  12. He got away with a big hold bc he was destroyed on 1st down.
  13. Brewer is awful. Just bc he can run block occasionally people think he’s decent. My god replace him.
